About Central 24-HR Clinic Woodlands

About Central 24-HR Clinic Woodlands

Central 24-HR Clinic Woodlands is a general practice and 24-hour clinic located at 768 Woodlands Avenue 6, serving residents in the Woodlands area and across Singapore. The clinic is listed as KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. No ACRA registration or MOH Healthcare Services Licence has been provided for this listing, and no regulatory licences appear on file — these are noted as gaps that prospective patients should clarify directly. The clinic holds a 2.8-out-of-5 rating across 827 Google reviews, which is a robust sample and reflects a meaningful pattern of patient feedback that warrants attention before booking.

For most patients, a GP visit covers an initial consultation, basic examination, prescriptions, and a medical certificate if required. As a 24-hour clinic, it is accessible outside standard hours for urgent but non-emergency conditions. Singapore Citizens and PRs with a referral letter from this clinic to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) access subsidised rates of roughly S$30–80 per visit, with typical waiting times of four to twelve weeks for non-urgent cases. For direct walk-in visits to the clinic itself, a standard GP consultation runs S$25–60 before investigations or medications. The Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) covers selected chronic conditions — hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, and others — allowing patients to use MediSave up to S$500 or S$700 per year for eligible outpatient treatments.

To book an appointment or confirm current waiting times, contact the clinic directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form before attending, particularly during peak hours or overnight.

I went to the clinic today. It's very unprofessional. Counter staff was on the phone and didn't give proper instructions and queue number upon registering. Doctor called my number twice but I'm not aware that's my number coz before me have 1 more patient so I took my sit and waited for my turn. Then the doctor open the door and ask do I want to come in or continue to sit outside? Plus Doctor said this year I have 15 days MC and question my health issues which for me is like unreasonable. I did not take MC for fun but really due to my illness. It's a year long not in a month I take all 15 days. I'm having flu, cough and on/off fever but was prescribed with panadol and 1day MC only. Thanks Dr Mithiran !

The clinic was stated to be open 24 hours, but it was closed when I visited. There was no notice or sign. Phone calls were not answered as well. I was here from 11.55am till 12.18pm, on a weekday.

Counter ah beng wearing spectacles with the ugly gold chain was extremely rude, unhelpful and not well spoken. Super unfriendly and bad attitude towards the patient whom was in extreme pain. He is clearly untrained and seems like he has never been taught manners in his life ever. Not sure what the hiring process is like but I’m sure with a nice, polite and hardworking employee, your business would do even better. Aka please fire this kind of people who don’t care about your business/reputation at all. Hire someone with empathy 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 🥴 worse clinic experience in my life aka in the whole of Singapore

The doctor wasn’t even there when patients had already taken the numbers to consult him. That’s tardiness given the fact it’s a 24 hours clinic and assistance should be provided promptly. I waited a good 30 min for him to arrive and another 30 min for my turn. Though my number was 9 and queueing time is not that long, the speed at which the locum sees the patients is super fast and I finally understand why when it was my turn. He came across as super dismissive, didn’t check my mouth or do any physical assessments except listen to my description of the symptoms and prescribed the medication. He only half heartedly looked at my soles and palms when prompted and I had to ask further questions to clarify. I was told to return for the next Monday for a review and the case is likely HFMD. I alr ChatGPT many times before I consulted a doc and the symptoms were not the same as what I’m experiencing. Finally couldn’t take it and sought a second opinion at UCC, where the doc was so patient to listen to my questions and answer accordingly. It was diagnosed as another condition in the end. Had the locum tried to physically examine the spots on my body he would have made an accurate diagnosis without wasting my money and time. And the clinic charged so exorbitantly fee for a 2 min consultation that I managed to drag into a 5 min one. Never visiting this clinic again if family doc wasn’t closed for the day. Disappointing and unprofessional encounter.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Central 24-HR Clinic Woodlands charge?

A standard GP consultation at a private 24-hour clinic in Singapore typically runs S$25–60, with after-hours or overnight visits sometimes carrying a surcharge of S$10–30 above daytime rates. On top of the consultation fee, investigations such as a basic blood panel (S$60–200), urine dipstick, rapid antigen tests, or an X-ray (S$80–150) are billed separately, as are prescribed medications. Patients covered under an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life should confirm whether GP visits at this clinic are claimable — most IP plans apply to inpatient and specialist care rather than GP consultations. MediSave can be used for CDMP-listed chronic conditions up to S$500–700 per year. For a planned procedure or specialist referral, request a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Is Central 24-HR Clinic Woodlands MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No MOH Healthcare Services Licence and no Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration details are currently listed for Central 24-HR Clinic Woodlands. Both are mandatory for any legitimate clinic operating in Singapore under the Healthcare Services Act — the MOH Licence is verifiable on the MOH licensee directory, and every practising doctor must appear on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg. Prospective patients should ask the clinic directly for its MOH Healthcare Services Licence number and the name of the consulting doctor, then verify both independently before attending. This step is especially important given the clinic's 2.8-out-of-5 average across 827 Google reviews, which represents a robust sample of patient experience. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Central 24-HR Clinic Woodlands?

MediSave can be used at GP clinics participating in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, COPD, stroke, and selected mental health conditions. Eligible patients may withdraw up to S$500 per year (general outpatient) or S$700 per year under CDMP. Confirm with the clinic whether it is a CDMP-accredited provider before assuming MediSave is applicable. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient stays and specialist day surgery rather than routine GP visits — check your specific policy's outpatient benefit schedule. For outpatient cancer treatment, kidney dialysis, or selected scans, separate MediSave limits of S$200–600 apply. If a referral to a specialist or a procedure is needed, ask for a pre-treatment financial counselling session and an itemised written estimate before committing — this is the most reliable way to avoid an unexpected bill.
