About Central 24-HR Clinic Yishun
Central 24-HR Clinic Yishun is a general practice and 24-hour clinic located at 701A Yishun Avenue 5, serving residents in the Yishun area and accessible to patients islandwide. The clinic has been verified by KakiList, though no ACRA registration or regulatory licences have been confirmed in the listing data at this time. It holds a 2.4/5 rating across 923 Google reviews — a robust sample size that warrants careful consideration before booking.
For a first visit, patients can walk in at any hour without a prior appointment, which is the primary advantage of a 24-hour GP setting. Consultation fees at a private GP typically run S$25–60 before medications and investigations. Singapore Citizens and PRs holding a polyclinic or GP referral letter may instead access a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic at subsidised rates of S$30–80, though non-urgent waits of 4–12 weeks apply. For selected chronic conditions — hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, and others — the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allows MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits to offset consultation and medication costs. Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life generally do not cover outpatient GP visits unless the patient is subsequently admitted.

My experience at this clinic was unsatisfactory. I had anticipated a prompt visit given the apparent absence of other patients, but this expectation was not met. The demeanor of the counter staff was unwelcoming, and I did not observe any pleasant expressions. Furthermore, I request that you refrain from utilizing standardized responses for all feedback. My interaction with the physician was also unfavorable. Consequently, I would advise against selecting this clinic. Alternative options are available in the vicinity. The medication provided was one I had previously purchased and found ineffective; I might as well visit a retail pharmacy where I would at least receive satisfactory service. More information: I sent an email to them following their comments on my post, but I have not yet received a response. Disappointed!
If i could put zero stars i would have. this doctor is an old man with balding spot. I came in with severe nerve spasms and a loss of sensation in my groin due to a physical injury from working and the symptoms has been going for a week and i decided go here since my usual clinic was closed. Despite being in visible pain, the doctor completely ignored my symptoms, he said that im completely fine. I insist and kept saying i am in pain on my groin area and he replied with i am completely fine again. Wow such magic powers? he can feel what i feel currently? basically gaslit me to thinking that im okay when im experiencing the pain myself and tried to avoid responsibility by giving me an ultimatum: either an A&E hospital referral or no MC at all. I requested 2 days because i dont think muscle pain just magically disappear within a day rest. He immediately told me he can refer me to a hospital for a full check to see im physically okay. Seriously i was furious and kept quiet and took the MC anyways. Best part didnt even gave me the muscle relaxants i needed. They gave me Panadol , Rashes and diarrhoea meds which i dont even need. i was fasting too. so it kinda took a toll on my mental health went to the carpark and due to anger that i felt cried. Please refrain from coming here not a really practical place to go you enter with sickness and leave the clinic with more symptoms. not even a single sympathy from the doctor.
Do not visit. Extremely bad experience. Management's standard reply to all 1 star review is to email them but don't bother because they do not reply and no follow up actions taken. I made the mistake of visiting without first looking at the reviews due to urgency of my condition at odd hours. If you had a choice, I would strongly suggest other clinics instead. The bad receptionist service and dismissive attitude of the doctor will not make you feel any better. Additionally, doctor's memo did not accurately reflect the incident as described, and when I sought clarification on the spot, doctor alleged that the consultation was recorded. I have since written to management and have been awaiting a substantive follow-up for several months but to no avail. Patients visiting 24-hour clinics are often in pain, distressed, or vulnerable. Professional conduct and proper documentation are not optional — they are fundamental standards of care.
Have been to this clinic few times cause I had no other choice. 90% my experience was bad, especially with the three different doctors. My latest visit was yesterday where I had dry flaky skin around my eyes and lips. No reassurance at all and was prejudiced on the skincare products that I have been using for the past six months. She just provided me a referral letter and said that they can’t do or have any medication for me. As simple as that, they received the consultation fee.
It was my first time to this clinic as it was the nearest to me at that point of time. The doctor was quite old and he only INSISTED in giving me a day MC when i had a severe migraine and stomach flu. Altho i explained i have shift to cover for two days. Told me that i should change the job if my body cannot adapt to my working shift hours. Perhaps this is why it leads to the receptionist being unpleasant. I do not blame the receptionist for being so as she has to work alongside with such a doctor. I really hope you do some investigations with this doctor as i believe i was not the only one who had an unpleasant experience with this doctor. From all the reviews i read, it matches my experience as well. I hope you hear us all and do take necessary actions in allowing this doctor to retire as he will not be beneficial or any compassion to anyone else. Be it medically, physically or mentally. Thank You and Goodluck.

No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration has been confirmed in the current listing data for Central 24-HR Clinic Yishun. Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must also appear on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. Given the absence of confirmed licences in this listing, patients are strongly encouraged to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly before booking. The clinic's 2.4/5 rating across 923 Google reviews — a robust sample — suggests a pattern of patient experience worth investigating before attending. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally do not cover GP outpatient visits unless the patient is subsequently admitted to a hospital. MediSave can be used at approved outpatient clinics under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient use, or S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders. Confirm with Central 24-HR Clinic Yishun whether the clinic is an approved CDMP provider and whether MediSave claims are processed at the point of consultation. For any follow-on specialist referral or planned procedure, request a financial counselling session so the split between insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and cash out-of-pocket is clearly set out in writing before proceeding.
