About Centre for Orthodontics
Centre for Orthodontics is a dental practice specialising in orthodontic treatment, located at 119 Aljunied Ave 2 in the Aljunied area and serving patients islandwide. It is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed operating details and contact information. Patients typically begin with an initial consultation to assess their orthodontic needs — this may include photographs, X-rays, and impressions or digital scans to map tooth alignment and jaw position. The orthodontist will discuss treatment options (commonly fixed braces, ceramic braces, or clear aligner systems such as Invisalign), explain the expected treatment duration, retention phase, and associated costs before any commitment is made. It is worth confirming whether a separate consultation fee applies and what it covers, whether the quoted fee is inclusive of retainers at the end of treatment, and the cancellation and missed-appointment policy.
To take the next step, contact Centre for Orthodontics via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to schedule an initial consultation and ask for a written treatment plan with full cost breakdown before proceeding.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I had a great experience with this Smile dental clinic at Aljunied Ave 2. The staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable right away. The dentist Ms Angela Ngauw took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions, which really helped ease my nerves. I’m very happy with the quality of care I received. 👍🏼
Just visited smile dental n give 5 stars cus they are friendly n efficient. Booked an appointment yesterday and went today. Strongly recommend for anyone fearing dental visits. Thanks smile dental... keep it up!
My first visit on 23Aug at Aljunied. The best ever dental clinic. My 2nd visit 11 October of course delay was on me due to my work schedule and with the same dental doctor Dr Lee was even better and my trust just stuck there even tho is only my try out for my dentures. Dr Lee carefully and meticulously tried his best to do the best for me and I hope I will get the best result next 2 weeks. I strongly recommend Smile Central Clinic Aljunied is the best compared to other dental clinics that I had gone for my dentures. The front desk girls are just awesome and very helpful. Thank you girls and thank you soo much
Brought my 5 y/o for his first dental appointment. Dr Angela was very patient and explained what she was doing every step of the way. She was gentle and fast. Thanks to her, my son had a wonderful first dental experience. Thank you!
In March of this year, I visited the dental clinic with my Blue Ches card and was excited to discover a promotion for a 5-in-1 package. The overall service at the clinic was satisfactory, but unfortunately, my experience with the dentist consultation left much to be desired. The interaction with the dentist was quite impersonal, and I felt that there was a lack of communication throughout the consultation. During the consultation, the dentist did not engage in much conversation with me, and I was left feeling uninformed about the status of my teeth and gums. There was no discussion about any potential dental issues or recommendations for preventive measures or treatments. I left the consultation without any clear understanding of the state of my oral health, which was quite concerning. As a patient, I believe it is crucial to receive proper guidance and information from the dentist to ensure good oral hygiene and identify any potential dental problems early on. Unfortunately, the dentist's lack of communication and failure to provide recommendations left me feeling unsatisfied with the consultation experience. While the rest of the services provided during the visit, such as the general servicing, were satisfactory, the dentist consultation significantly impacted my overall impression of the clinic. As a result, I may reconsider visiting the clinic again in the future unless there are improvements in the level of communication and attention provided by the dental professionals. Clear and informative consultations are essential for building trust and ensuring the well-being of patients, and I hope that the clinic takes this feedback into consideration for future interactions with their patients. Additionally they do have wheelchair friendly entries.

Orthodontic treatment is typically priced as a full-course package rather than per session. In Singapore, comprehensive fixed braces treatment generally ranges from S$3,500 to S$7,000 depending on case complexity, appliance type (metal, ceramic, or lingual), and the number of arches involved. Clear aligner treatment such as Invisalign typically runs S$4,000–$9,000 or more for full-arch cases. An initial consultation may be charged separately at roughly S$80–$150. Confirm what the quoted package includes: X-rays and records, all adjustment visits, retainers at the end of treatment, and any GST. Ask whether additional charges apply for extractions, interproximal reduction, or refinement aligners, as these can add meaningfully to the total. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →
No formal referral is required to book a consultation at Centre for Orthodontics — you can contact the practice directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. However, if your general dentist has already taken recent X-rays or noted specific concerns, bring those records as they can shorten the assessment process. At the first visit, the orthodontist will typically review dental and facial photographs, take diagnostic X-rays (panoramic and cephalometric), and assess bite, spacing, and jaw relationship before recommending a treatment plan. If you have a complex medical history, medications affecting bone density, or active periodontal disease, flag these at booking as they may affect treatment eligibility or sequencing. Patients with dental anxiety are welcome to mention this so the team can accommodate accordingly.
Dentists and specialist orthodontists practising in Singapore are registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), which sits under the Ministry of Health. Specialist orthodontists hold an additional specialist registration on the SDC's Specialist Register — only those who have completed an accredited postgraduate orthodontic programme and passed the relevant assessments are listed. You can verify the consulting practitioner's name and registration status on the SDC's public register at moh.gov.sg before your appointment. No regulatory licences were listed in the data available for Centre for Orthodontics. Before booking, confirm the name of the orthodontist who will be treating you and check their SDC registration directly. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
