About "Changi Sailing Club"
Changi Sailing Club offers sailing and watersports education from its base at 32 Netheravon Road, with programmes available to participants across Singapore. The club is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, and holds a Google rating of 4.4 out of 5 across 804 reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable indicator of consistent quality. Pricing is positioned at a mid-range level ($$), though specific session or programme fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the club.
Prospective participants or parents should enquire about level and experience fit — whether that is absolute beginner, recreational sailor, or those working towards a keelboat or dinghy certification. It is worth asking whether courses run as group classes or offer more individual instruction, and whether the syllabus aligns with national or internationally recognised sailing qualifications such as those offered through the Singapore Sailing Federation or Royal Yachting Association. Clarifying the term or course commitment upfront, along with what equipment or attire is provided versus what participants must bring, will help set expectations before enrolment.
The clearest next step is to contact Changi Sailing Club directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about upcoming course intake dates, group sizes, and current availability before committing to a programme.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
We love the restaurant, sea breeze and excellent ambient. Food is very good.
It’s a very unique corner of Singapore. You can have outdoor adventures with your kids or just sip a beer by the pool, your choice. I enjoy hanging out there almost every weekend
Wonderful ambience. The view from the restaurant is amazing and it is next to the beach. Multiple food options, especially sea food. Loved the honey lemon chicken and fresh coconut water. Chicken curry with rice was the usual. Sea food fried rice was quite nice also.
Beautiful marina for sailboats. Located in a very peaceful corner of the North-East Coast of Singapore. Met a client there to deliver boat spares he bought from me. There's a sizeable swimming pool and restaurant with a nice sea view. Very breezy there too which makes the Singapore heat more bearable. It's also a 15min walk to Changi Village via the Changi Boardwalk trail. Very scenic walk along the coast. Would recommend coming here to enjoy a meal with the rising/setting sun 🌅
“A dreamy dinner by the sailboats and waves… the perfect ambiance for romance, relaxation, and renewal.”

Changi Sailing Club uses a $$ pricing tier, but specific per-session, monthly package, or term fees are not publicly listed and will need to be confirmed directly with the club. Sailing and watersports education in Singapore typically ranges from S$80 to S$250 per session depending on boat type, group size, and certification level, with structured course packages often offering better value than one-off bookings. It is worth asking upfront whether a trial or introductory session is available, what materials or equipment are included, and whether there are sibling or multi-course discounts. Some programmes charge a one-time registration fee on top of the course fee. See the full Sport & Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many sailing schools and watersports providers in Singapore offer an introductory or discovery session before full course enrolment, though the availability of this at Changi Sailing Club should be confirmed directly. A trial session allows you to gauge whether the teaching approach, pace, and group dynamic are the right fit for the participant's age and experience level. When attending a trial, observe whether the instructor adapts to different confidence levels, whether safety briefings are thorough, and whether the ratio of time on water to classroom instruction matches your expectations. This is particularly relevant for younger participants or those with no prior sailing experience.
Specific instructor qualifications are not listed in the available information, so it is advisable to ask directly. For sailing education in Singapore, relevant credentials to look for include certification through the Singapore Sailing Federation, Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Dinghy Instructor qualification, or equivalent international sailing coach certification. Experience with the specific course syllabus you are enrolling in — whether recreational dinghy sailing, keelboat racing, or youth development programmes — matters as much as formal qualifications. It is reasonable to ask how long the instructors have been teaching, what certifications they hold, and whether there is a consistent lead instructor assigned to your course cohort.
