About Cherry Nursing Home Pte Ltd
Cherry Nursing Home Pte Ltd is a nursing home located at 39 Sims Ave, Singapore 387412, providing residential eldercare services. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, and it holds a Google rating of 4.1 out of 5 across 39 reviews, a moderate sample that offers a reasonable directional signal. Families considering Cherry Nursing Home Pte Ltd would typically begin with a phone enquiry or contact form submission to discuss the resident's care needs — mobility level, medical conditions, cognitive status, and any specialist requirements such as dementia care or wound management. A site visit is strongly advisable to assess the physical environment, staffing ratios, daily routine, meal provision, and the qualifications of the nursing and therapy team. It is worth clarifying whether the home offers short-stay or respite options alongside long-term residential care, and what the process is for reviewing and adjusting the care plan over time. Pricing at the $$ display level is mid-range for Singapore nursing homes, though exact fees should be confirmed directly.
To take the next step, contact Cherry Nursing Home Pte Ltd by phone or via the enquiry form to request a care assessment appointment and a full schedule of fees — and put the agreed care plan, hours, and rate in writing before signing any admission contract.

Mum truly enjoyed her short-term respite last December—so much that she didn’t want to leave! Kudos to all the care staff at Charis Manor. The constant and cheerful updates were very reassuring. The food was delicious, authentic, and worthy of a masterchef. She also had fun during physiotherapy, thanks to the encouragement from Janice Cheah :) [and Kelvin PT]. The environment was peaceful and calming, and the clinical care team was organized and caring. Some staff are trained by the academy, and it really shows. Apart from a small glitch with clothes tagging, everything else was excellent. I’ve already recommended Charis Manor to a relative who will be taking up short-term respite soon, and I’m considering another temporary respite next year. Thank you, Linus, Kat, Predah, and the team
Charis Manor provides a warm, caring, and well-managed environment for residents. The staff are attentive, patient, and genuinely compassionate, always making an effort to ensure residents feel respected and comfortable. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organised to support both safety and dignity. It is reassuring to see the level of dedication shown by the team in their daily care and interactions. Overall, Charis Manor is a place where families can feel confident that their loved ones are in good hands.
Surprised that the nursing home is different from the usual ones that I have visited, it feels more like a home. The food served is tasty & nutritious, and is prepared by their in-house cook. There is an outdoor garden for the seniors to enjoy outdoor activities and gardening.
My mum stayed at Charis Manor for only 2 months before she passed away. From my first visit, Ms. Tang Sze Chia, the Nursing Director, made a really positive impression - she was warm, caring and approachable. The home's friendly atmosphere and modest size created a homely environment. Staff members such as Kat, the ever cheerful receptionist, and Linus, the Senior Finance Manager, were both very understanding, and frequently engaged with the residents, talking and listening to them. Charis Manor provided comprehensive care, including weekly visits from a doctor and physiotherapist. There were also free manicure/pedicure and haircut services, as well as a mobile library service. During my mum's stay, the nursing team: the nursing manager, the senior nurses, nurses and healthcare assistants, demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and attentiveness. Her bedsores, initially severe, improved significantly under their care. I would like to especially acknowledge Amalina, who gently encouraged my mum to eat and drink during a period of poor appetite, especially towards the end of her life. The residents and staff ate nourishing meals cooked by Alex, the resident chef. I had the opportunity to try his chicken rice and it was absolutely delicious! The home was extremely accommodating to my family, allowing us to visit at all hours and stay overnight in my mum's final days. We are really grateful for the care and support provided throughout her time at Charis Manor.
Pleasant and warming reception upon entry. Staff are enthusiastic and friendly. Residents are taken care of by attentive caregivers.

Cherry Nursing Home Pte Ltd is positioned at the mid-range ($$) price tier, but exact monthly fees are not published on this listing and should be confirmed directly with the home. Singapore nursing home fees typically range from S$2,500 to S$6,000 or more per month depending on the level of nursing care required, room type (single, twin, or ward), and whether specialist services such as dementia care, physiotherapy, or wound management are included. Beyond the base monthly fee, confirm whether there are additional charges for incontinence supplies, medical consumables, physiotherapy or occupational therapy sessions, transport to hospital appointments, and festive or ancillary services. Ask specifically about the public holiday surcharge policy and what happens to fees during short hospital admissions. ElderShield, CareShield Life, MediSave, and CHAS subsidies may apply depending on the resident's citizenship, income level, and care needs — see the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →
Cherry Nursing Home Pte Ltd operates as a residential nursing home, meaning care is provided on a full-time live-in basis rather than through visit-based or day-care arrangements. Residents move into the facility and receive round-the-clock nursing supervision, personal care, meals, and rehabilitation services as part of the residential programme. If the family is not yet ready for full residential placement, it is worth asking whether the home offers short-stay or respite care — a time-limited admission that allows the resident to adjust and the family to assess fit before committing to long-term placement. Confirm the minimum stay, the process for transitioning from respite to permanent residency, and the notice period required if the family decides to discharge the resident early. A trial period, even a short one, can help identify whether the home's environment, staffing, and daily routine suit the individual's needs.
No regulatory licences are currently listed in this profile for Cherry Nursing Home Pte Ltd. In Singapore, nursing homes are required to hold a licence issued by the Ministry of Health (MOH) under the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act, and many are also registered with the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) for subsidy purposes. Families should ask the home to confirm its MOH licence number and check it against the MOH's online healthcare institution registry before proceeding. Beyond licensing, ask specifically about the nursing team's qualifications (registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and the nurse-to-resident ratio per shift), whether certified dementia care practitioners are on staff if relevant, and what the protocol is for medical emergencies including hospitalisation. Confirm whether the home holds public liability and professional indemnity insurance, and how incidents involving resident falls or injuries are documented and communicated to families. Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
