We hired Sandar and Sumon as temporary caregivers for my mother, as she had sustained complex fractures in her right leg after a car accident. Both ladies were very experienced and intelligent, able to help my mother transition between her bed, wheelchair and the bathroom, assist in showering and other tasks. The young Myanmese caregiver sent to help with showering my husband when he’s on home leave from the nursing home is very caring, compassionate and speaks very gently to him. She also helps with cleaning him up after he’s done with moving his bowels. He allows her to massage him , something that he doesn’t allow if he’s not comfortable with the person.
