I sprained my right wrist a few weeks ago and the pain worsened yesterday late morning, so I decided to seek treatment at Chien Chi Tow after hearing positive feedback about the Jurong East outlet from a colleague. I was attended by Dr Lian Deqiang and Therapist Lan Ming. Dr Lian was very thorough in explaining my condition and treatment plan. I am quite afraid of acupuncture, but he was patient and reassuring throughout the session. Therapist Lan Ming was skilled and attentive. After the tui na session, she thoughtfully covered my legs with a blanket so I would not feel cold during the acupuncture treatment. I appreciated the small but caring gesture. The receptionist, Sisi, was polite and detailed when explaining the dietary restrictions and how to take the prescribed medication. The treatment was somewhat painful and slightly more expensive compared to other TCM that I had been to previously, but I did feel some improvement afterward. Overall, it was a positive experience and I would consider returning for follow up sessions.

Every time when I come to this place, I am always greeted by Sze Sze at the counter. She is very friendly and approachable. She takes time to explain about the packages without hard selling when she sees me coming quite often at one point. Most recently I returned for treatment for my headache and back pain. Dr Hong is very patient and attentive. He explained his treatment plan - tuina on my head and back, hot pack, accupuncture and 5 days of medicine. What is impressive is that he informed me that the charges will be more than what I am usually paying in view that he has to treatment 2 different areas. Wan Li is gentle in his tuina and he always is on spot of where the trigger point. I strongly recommend to anyone if TCM is for you.

Late Review from January 2025: I had a very bad fall on my back down a flight of stairs, injured my back, limping I went to this clinic intro by my dad, they fix me up in 2 weeks with acupuncture, hot press therapy and massage therapy. I was amazed, as I had to flight to catch and they managed to fix me in 2 weeks with 3 sessions. The price was acceptable, $160+ including medication and bandages. Ever since I had been going back to them. Highly recommended! Dr Hong is young but very powerful and knowledgeable. His acupuncture very accurate! 👍👍
