Brenda is an absolute gem with a heart of gold for the seniors. My 86yr old dad had previous hearing aids fitted by restructured hospitals and had also helped his own late mother with hearing aid, thus he has come across many audiology specialists, but this is the first time he praised and felt truly taken cared of by one ( Brenda of course ) . Brenda is always cheerful, and genuinely wants the best for her clients. She was never pushy but always professional and patiently considered his requirements and preference. We have also come to realize that a good and experienced audiology specialist is more important to the successful hearing aid outcome than the brand or model of the hearing aid. We appreciated the trial hearing aid option that allowed my dad to truly " try " out his investment first before committing to it. Jay, whom I first contacted through WhatsApp, was also very prompt and eager to help us to get an early appointment so that my dad could go on his overseas holiday with the trial pair. As a result, my dad absolutely enjoyed his holiday more with improved hearing . If you have been let down by poor hearing aid aftercare support or have seniors who had prior negative hearing aid experience , come to The Hearing Centre and ask for Brenda and her other colleagues for help ( which I have read excellent reviews as well). We wholeheartedly would recommend her to our loved ones who needs hearing aid. Hearing is a very important aspect in Dementia prevention so don't neglect it for our senior loved ones.

[Posted on behalf of my father] I am an 82 year old retiree. I retired some sixteen years ago. Six years into my retirement I experienced difficulties in having conversations. I had to listen intently to make out what was being said and more often than not I failed. Conversation with my wife became increasingly difficult. I rationalized that it was part of growing old. I was able to put all this behind me. After all I was busy with my reading, exercise and watching TV.  But then gradually another problem set in. When watching TV I had to read the sub titles to make out what was going on. It was at this time that I met a friend of mine who had similar problems. He sought professional help and had to use a hearing aid. I was not convinced still. After much persuasion I decided to get professional help. The 'Hearing Room' came with very strong recommendations. We went to the hearing room by appointment and met Mr Luke and his audiologist Ms Faith. Luke explained in detail about hearing loss and Ms Faith did an audio test. The test confirmed that I had a hearing loss. We were briefed on all the measures that would be taken to ensure that I acquire a hearing aid that would suit me most. After a week we went back to the hearing room to try out the hearing aids. A week later we decided on the hearing aid. I have been using the hearing aid thereafter. Initially I had problems adapting. Whenever I ran into problems Mr Luke and Ms Faith have been very accommodating and helpful. I am now very comfortable in the presence of people as I am able to communicate.

Shalini did a great job. My old ear piece needed to be replaced, and she patiently worked through the process of testing my hearing, and recommending an appropriate hearing aid. Then after a couple of weeks tying out 2 models and optimising the tuning, it was easy to decide on the model that met my requirements. Great service, helpful and friendly. Thank you.

After using hearing aids from 3 different brands, I find that Phonak gives me the best results and comfort. The sale after service is very good. There is no pushing of going for new models.
