5 stars! Solo parented here at City Sprouts Henderson (former Henderson Secondary School) yesterday 22/6/25, wasn’t fully sure what to expect for the 2 hour session but I kept an open mind. We both loved it, especially our 3-year-old boy! It started with the outdoor farm tour after an initial short briefing, split into several groups due to our big group size on a Sunday 9am in the midst of school holidays, and enjoyed touching and smelling several plants on the urban farm. Highlight of this was the physical and safe interaction with animals like chickens, as well as earthworms and tilapia. It was a hot morning so our boy was sweaty but he still enjoyed himself! We ended off back in the aircon room with the next surprise of cultivating our own mushrooms which we hope will be ready after 3 weeks! Always so rewarding to see your kid taking pride in doing something from scratch. Staff of this social enterprise were all friendly and helpful, doing their best with the large group size. Love its focus on sustainability for our island nation. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Thank you for being so engaging and thorough in helping our students understand the rationale and the thinking behind Singapore’s urban planning. 7/5/2025 Was walking around the area & decided to check this out. Located in the former Henderson Sec Sch compound. Good to see some "farming" here. F&B outlets available. Parking is available too. Saw some activities conducted for kids.
