The listing is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. The practice holds a Google rating of 3.3 out of 5 across 36 reviews — a moderate sample size, though the rating sits below the typical threshold for a strong endorsement and warrants attention before booking. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range ($$) level; no exact fee schedule is publicly listed.
For a first visit, patients typically contact the practice by phone or through the enquiry form to confirm appointment availability, describe their presenting concern — whether a routine check-up and scale-and-polish, a filling, tooth pain, or a more involved procedure — and ask about waiting times. It is worth confirming upfront which procedures are covered under your dental insurance or CHAS/Medisave entitlements, as coverage varies by plan and procedure type. The practice is situated within a Clementi HDB estate, making it convenient for residents in the surrounding neighbourhood and accessible via public transport.
To proceed, contact Clementi Family Dental directly by phone or via the enquiry form on the listing to book a first appointment and confirm current fee schedules for the treatment you require.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Was in great pain with the molar tooth and decided to visit my regular dentise via walk-in. It was quite fast as the wait was only around 35mins. My dentise Dr Soh is on afternoon shift and I was attended by Dr Lim instead. There are times that I do go to Dr Lim too and i am really thankful that she went through my diagnoses in details and also the extra mile with the booking of my last min appt with the Endodontics slated 40mins. (The Endodontics that I was referred to is fully booked this week and i was in pain and travelling in few days time) I used to visit lady Dr Soh for care services in the past too and i remembered that my gums used to bleed very easily. She did deep cleansing for me and all was good after! Appreciate this dentise family alot and it is not easy to find good dentise nowadays. Just to highlight that they are super popular and thus try to book in advance if possible. I know how it feels when we have tooth emergency yet no slots available. However they need their rest and breaks too. Lets be nice !!
i have made this dentist appointment with them three months in advance but what greeted me today is a shut shutter. i even called them on their phone and nobody is answering. i came all the way from east singapore and this is what happened. i am very disappointed with their terrible admin service. they should have called and informed me that they are not opening their clinic due to whatever urgent reasons or divert their phone calls to answer enquires —- on hindsight, i call them on tuesday and the clinic did get back to me. Good service recovery and hopefully the next appointment will proceed without any issue. Thank you. — updated on 26/3/22 I finally get my scaling and polishing done by Dr Soh. As usual, he is very assuring and skillful. 👍🏼
Just finish my visit to Clementi dental, I had visited this dental clinic more than ten years. Dr Soh, his partner and their staffs had provide a good and responsible service everytime I visit. I had make another appointment to clean my teeth again in August so to those who have no patient and can't wait for their service, please avoid. Feel like trying your luck, walk in and straight away your turn, fat hope. Their appointment list is always full. They will never rush to finish their job just because of long queue in the clinic. It is not like ordering food, everything must be quick and fast. I appreciate each time they put in effort and check carefully throughout the whole treatment. Thanks so much.
I am utterly disappointed with the appointment system at this dental clinic. I made an advance appointment for my regular scaling and polishing six months before today. Due to some last-minute matters, I made a call to reschedule my evening appointment to another day. However, it was gathered that my appointment wasn't recorded in the book as claimed by the receptionist Nana. She emphasised that there should be no appointment set for this evening, and nothing is recorded in the appointment book. I have been a regular at this dental clinic for the past few years, and I truly appreciate the service and professionalism of Dr Soh. Usually, they will check if you like to make an advance appointment at the end of your previous visit and contact you a few days before to confirm your appointment. The appointment is usually made where the staff will record your name into a calendar notebook while you make your arrangement to record the date you made the appointment. Evening slots were relatively popular and often not easy to get unless you made an advance appointment. However, I have lost total faith in forecasting evening slots with the dental clinic as this was the 2nd occasion it happened. In my parting feedback, I sincerely hope the dental clinic would consider changing the management of the appointment system to prevent a similar incident from happening to another customer.
Horrible reception manners. Called to see if the dentist can access the patient during circuit breaker as my husband is in pain. Instead of concerning if the patient is in pain, they tell you a full set of MOH guidelines which i understand is their duty. But my reason for a call is to get the doctor to at least assess my husband condition. If the treatment cannot be done, we are informed what is the next step. I will never visit this clinic ever again. Adding to your explanation: We do understand that there are certain requirements and limited services provided during circuit breaker and we do abide by it. I did hear good review before thar the residential dentist is good. And that was the reason why the clinic first came to my mind when my husband was in pain that day. I believed u must agree with me that before anyone is to reach the dentist, they first must go through registration with the receptionist. Well, I have nothing against the dentistry at this point, because we did not even pass through the reception to even see a dentist the very same day. My whole point is that there is horrible reception manners at the clinic and as health care professional, instead of being concern of the patient being in pain, the reception is rude and not even listening. And fyi, we called another clinic on the same day after trying to get appointment at your clinic, we were given an appointment immediately. My husband was having an infection that needed the tooth to be taken out on the spot. I did not experience any kind of the rude reception at the other clinic. The receptionist was more concerned to hear me out and told me the dentist is able to assess and advise later on. I am not someone who like to put on reviews to services provided, but the call was so bad that i really need to pen this down. Looking through the reviews, I also did see people commenting on the receptionist attitude as well. I think this is not something that I made out of the blue.

Most private dental practices in Singapore accept direct bookings without a GP referral — simply call or submit the enquiry form to secure an appointment. At the first visit, the dentist will typically conduct an oral examination and, where indicated, take X-rays to assess the condition of teeth, gums, and surrounding structures before recommending a treatment plan. A referral becomes relevant if your dental insurer or Medisave claim requires one, or if the dentist identifies a condition — such as an impacted wisdom tooth requiring surgical extraction, or a suspected oral pathology — that warrants a specialist at a polyclinic dental department or hospital oral surgery unit. For routine care, no referral is needed.
In Singapore, all practising dentists must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. You can verify any dentist's registration — including their full name, registration number, and any conditions on practice — through the SDC's publicly accessible online register at dentalcouncil.gov.sg. Specialist dentists (orthodontists, oral surgeons, periodontists, and so forth) hold an additional specialist registration on the SDC specialist register. No regulatory licences are currently listed for Clementi Family Dental on this directory. Before your appointment, ask the clinic for the consulting dentist's full name and SDC registration number so you can confirm their status independently. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
