For families considering ClimbUp, the starting point is to enquire about the appropriate level and programme fit for your child's age and current ability. Ask whether classes are structured as small groups or one-to-one coaching, what the typical class size is, and how the syllabus progresses across terms. It is worth clarifying the term commitment expected, whether a trial class is available before you enrol, and what materials or equipment are required. The East Coast Road location at i12 is accessible by public transport and is worth visiting in person before committing to a programme.
To take the next step, reach out to ClimbUp via WhatsApp or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current availability, programme levels suited to your child, and trial class options.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
This place is run by an incredible team. Ethan and Coaches are super patient, warm, and friendly - they are specific with the kids on how to improve, so much fun, and when my kids are anxious on the walls they encourage them to look up, adjust their footing, and just keep trying. I started with the trial for my daughter and immediately signed her up for a package (even tho she’s a bit young). Then I took my nephew along the next time and he loved it so much too that i signed him up for another package. ClimbUp has built a superb climbing environment for kids - and the caregivers and families who come along - we’ll keep coming back! Wish they let adults climb too 🤣
A fantastic and vibrant climbing gym that caters to all ages and skill levels. As someone relatively new to climbing, I found the beginner-friendly routes encouraging and the staff incredibly helpful and patient during the safety briefing. The variety of climbing walls, including the fun zone which looked great for kids, kept things interesting. The facility is clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment. It's a great place for a fun workout and to challenge yourself. I'll definitely be returning for another climb!
We've recently started rock climbing here for both our boys and they love it! Great that the siblings are able to be grouped together and the coaches are able to tailor to the individual proficiencies. There's also a parents waiting corner where drinks are complimentary - awesome place and would recommend!
My 5+ year old son has been attending rockclimbing classes since Jan this year and we all love it! Wonderful and encouraging coaches, friendly admin, and I love the new parents lounge that gives us a good space to chill and wait for our son! He’s grown in confidence and gross and fine motor skills, we can’t wait to see him climb to greater heights with climb up! ☺️
My child attended the full-day programme and absolutely loved it. Fantastic experience overall, with a great team and excellent instructors who were engaging, supportive, and professional throughout the day. Thank you so much — we will definitely be coming back again.

ClimbUp displays a mid-range ($$) price indicator, but specific per-session rates, monthly package fees, and term fees are not publicly listed. In Singapore, sport and swimming classes typically range from S$30–80 per session for group classes, with one-to-one coaching priced higher. A trial class fee may differ from the regular session rate. When enquiring, ask about materials or equipment costs, any registration or administrative fees, sibling discounts, and whether multi-session packages offer a lower effective rate. Confirm whether fees are collected per session, monthly, or per term. See the full Sport and Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many sport and swimming schools in Singapore offer a trial class so families can assess fit before signing up for a full term. A trial gives you the chance to observe the teaching style, gauge the pace of instruction relative to your child's current ability, and see how the coach manages the group. When attending a trial, pay attention to whether your child is engaged throughout, whether the level is appropriately challenging, and whether the coach communicates progress clearly. Ask ClimbUp directly whether a trial class is available, what it costs, and whether the fee is deductible if you proceed to enrol.
Credential information for ClimbUp's coaching team is not listed in the available data. For sport and swimming instruction in Singapore, relevant qualifications may include Swimming Teachers Association (STA) or AUSTSWIM certification for swimming coaches, and sport-specific coaching accreditations recognised by the relevant national sports association. It is worth asking ClimbUp directly about each coach's certification, years of teaching experience, and familiarity with the syllabus level your child will be joining. Take the trial class and confirm the coach's actual credentials before committing to a term.
