About ClinicGeek GP Directory East 24-Hour

ClinicGeek GP Directory East 24-Hour is a GP and 24-hour clinic service operating islandwide from its base at Thomson Medical Centre, 339 Thomson Road. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 4.1/5 rating across 216 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reasonable indication of patient experience. No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration details have been provided to KakiList, which limits the confidence of this listing.

Patients typically enquire by WhatsApp, phone, or online form before attending. For GP consultations, expect to pay S$25–60 per visit at private clinics; investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), swabs, and X-rays are billed separately. As a 24-hour clinic, attendance outside standard office hours may carry an after-hours surcharge. Singapore Citizens and PRs on CHAS or MediShield Life may be able to offset consultation costs under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia, with MediSave withdrawal of up to S$500–700 per year for eligible outpatient visits. For specialist referrals, the clinic can issue a referral letter to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic, which reduces the first consultation to S$30–80 for subsidised Citizens, though waits of 4–12 weeks are typical for non-urgent cases.

To book or attend, contact ClinicGeek GP Directory East 24-Hour directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm current waiting times, after-hours availability, and the range of services offered before making your way to Thomson Medical Centre.

I had a toe injury that required stitches, and I’d like to express my appreciation to Dr. Leow (Mrs Chua) and Senior Nurse Miss Susan Chang for their tremendous patience and gentle care throughout the treatment, especially with a "whiny baby" like me! There was a suspected fracture, and I requested to be treated by a specialist from my insurance panel. I'm grateful that Dr. Leow responded promptly and efficiently, arranging an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon much sooner than I could have on my own, had I booked it myself, the earliest available slot would have been three days later. Extremely grateful. Thank you both for your professionalism and compassionate ❤️

I noticed that the administrative counter workflow was quite disorganized. The staff attended to multiple patients at the same time but did not complete each case before moving on to the next. Each time a new patient approached, attention shifted away from the previous patient, resulting in several incomplete transactions. I understand clinics can be busy, but a more structured queue and task-completion process would greatly improve patient experience and reduce confusion and waiting time. I hope this feedback is helpful for improving the administrative workflow.

Came here to see the doctor since it was a Saturday my the usual GP I go to is already close. Expected a higher cost, but the amount is really ridiculous. Had a persistent fever and was told to do a test kit. But they failed to notify me of the price until after the tear the kit open and just went oh btw its 90$ for the kit. Said I cant refuse the kit. Did not give me any warning and just administered the kit even though i was in distress and said it hurts until i was in tears and shielding my face while the nurse just continue to come closer and i was leaning away from the chair. Hope they can be more transparent about cost and patient comfort when administering test. It was really an unpleasant experience there. Total bill also amounted to over 400$. Absolutely ridiculous.

I accompanied my daughter twice there for her injury on the ankle, without speaking the waiting time, the altitude of 1st floor front-desk staff was inacceptable and not professional. there was a mis-link / mis communication with the front-desk staff of 1str floor and the staff at 5th floor for x-ray. to give more details, when I asked how long we supposed to wait not for pushing but to see if we would have time in between for lunch, she told me you sat there like an order. we are disappointed and not considering to come back.

Went to Thomson Medical 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre to get myself a vaccination for influenza, came in at 8:30am was greeted immediately and registered. Received the flu shot from Nurse Manager Alice, she was gentle and kind, making the entire process a breeze. Left the UCC in 15 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does ClinicGeek GP Directory East 24-Hour charge?

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with after-hours and public-holiday surcharges of S$10–30 on top at 24-hour clinics. Investigations are billed separately: a basic blood panel is S$60–200, an X-ray S$80–150, and a urine or swab test S$20–60. Prescriptions and medical certificates are usually itemised on the receipt. For planned or chronic-condition visits, MediSave can be used under the CDMP withdrawal limit of S$500–700 per year for listed conditions. CHAS cardholders (Blue, Orange, or Green) receive subsidised rates at participating GP clinics — confirm whether ClinicGeek GP Directory East 24-Hour is a CHAS-accredited clinic before attending if this applies to you. GST applies on private medical services. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is ClinicGeek GP Directory East 24-Hour MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, which shows registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. ClinicGeek GP Directory East 24-Hour has not provided licence or SMC registration details to KakiList at the time of this listing. Before attending — particularly for ongoing treatment or prescriptions — search the MOH licensee directory for the clinic premises and confirm the consulting doctor's name on the SMC register. Neither check alone is sufficient; both should be confirmed. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at ClinicGeek GP Directory East 24-Hour?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life primarily cover inpatient and day-surgery costs; most routine GP visits are not IP-claimable unless the policy includes an outpatient rider. For outpatient use, MediSave can be withdrawn under the S$500/year general outpatient limit or S$700/year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed chronic conditions — confirm whether the clinic is a CDMP-accredited provider before the visit. For any planned procedure or specialist referral arising from this clinic, request a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before committing. If an Integrated Shield Plan is involved, pre-authorisation and a Letter of Guarantee from your insurer should be obtained before the procedure — skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill. CHAS cardholders should confirm participation status directly with the clinic, as not all 24-hour GP clinics are enrolled in the scheme.
