About Coding Lab
Coding Lab is an education provider offering coding and programming instruction, operating islandwide from its centre at King Albert Park in Singapore. It holds KakiList verification and is registered with ACRA. With a Google rating of 4.9 across 197 reviews — a robust sample — it has built a consistently positive reputation among families seeking technology-focused learning for children and young people.
When enquiring, it helps to clarify your child's current level, the syllabus or language focus you have in mind (such as Scratch, Python, or app development), and whether you are looking for group classes or one-to-one instruction. Ask about trial class availability so your child can experience the teaching style and pacing before you commit to a term. It is also worth confirming the term length, session frequency, and whether classes are held in-centre at King Albert Park or available online.
To get started, reach out to Coding Lab via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current class schedules, available levels, and trial class options before reserving a place.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I’m very happy that my son has completed the App Inventor Holiday Program and Python Junior 1 at your KAP Mall centre. The teacher is extremely patient and kind. What impressed me the most is the daily updates we receive after each class, sharing what my son has learned. This is something we did not experience at other coding centres, and it truly makes a difference. As a working parent, these detailed updates mean a lot and are greatly appreciated. My son genuinely enjoys learning at your centre, and we have since signed him up for Python Junior 2. Thank you to the teachers for their dedication and hard work. Highly recommended.
My teens enjoyed themselves very much at their Coding Lab Python 1 holiday class. Their instructor was patient and clear. My son especially liked the nest of loops concept cause it involves the multiplication tables. My daughter asked for Python 2 and more advanced coding classes which will challenge her to apply what she learnt to actual use cases. I’m glad they are themselves convinced of the value of coding skills. Thumbs up for a well-crafted coding curriculum for basic learners!
I made a twitch stream simulator and a counting sheep simulator. The dignal within the classrooms kind of suck, but the program and the nice tchers made it better. They also gave free biscuits.
My 11yr old is enjoying himself. His teacher (Fang Jun) is very patient and guide the class very well. Would definitely signup for more Holiday classes in the future 🙂
Signed my 7YO up for Scratch 1 Holiday Camp (June). Although he was the only one for the afternoon class (1-3pm), the centre went ahead instead of cancelling the camp, which i am super grateful for since most places would require minimum attendance to proceed 🥹 Timothy was an outstanding mentor to my boy. He was patient, provided daily updates on my son’s progress, as well as the learning objectives attained for each class. The curriculum and structure of the lessons were impressive and effective, as my boy was able to understand and develop an interest in coding despite not having any prior experience. I also noticed kids from other ongoing classes looking very satisfied and having fun with their lessons. Staff were friendly, helpful and themselves seem to enjoy their time at the school. We will definitely come back for more classes! :) Highly recommend Coding Lab to anyone who is looking for a coding school!

Coding Lab has not published its fees on this listing, so pricing should be confirmed directly with the provider. In the Singapore market, coding enrichment classes typically range from S$30 to S$80 per session for group classes, with one-to-one sessions running higher. Some providers charge per term rather than per session, and a separate materials or platform fee may apply. Ask whether a trial class is available and what it costs, and check if sibling discounts or package rates apply for block bookings. See the full coding class cost guide for Singapore →
Many coding enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate. A trial gives your child a chance to experience the curriculum structure, the instructor's teaching approach, and the pace of the class before you commit to a full term. When assessing fit, observe whether your child is engaged and whether the level matches their existing experience — a complete beginner and a child who already codes will need very different entry points. Ask Coding Lab directly about their trial class policy and how to book one.
Coding Lab has not published individual tutor credentials on this listing. When enquiring, it is worth asking about the instructors' educational background, industry or teaching experience, and familiarity with the specific languages or platforms your child will be learning. For school-aligned coding programmes, also ask whether the curriculum maps to the MOE Computing syllabus or follows a proprietary framework. If your child is preparing for a specific exam or competition, confirm that the instructor has relevant experience in that area. Contact Coding Lab directly to ask these questions before committing to a term.
