Families interested in holiday camp programmes should enquire about which upcoming school holidays have openings, the age range and ability level suited to each camp, whether sessions are structured as group classes, and what the camp schedule looks like across the week. It is worth confirming whether the fee is charged per day, per week, or as a full-camp block, and whether materials or costume requirements carry any additional cost. Parents can reach Dance At The Difference via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about syllabus content, typical group sizes, the teaching team's background, and whether sibling discounts or early-bird rates apply.
To take the next step, contact Dance At The Difference directly through WhatsApp or the enquiry form to check availability for the upcoming school holiday period, confirm the fee structure, and ask about a trial class before committing to a full camp.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I am so glad we found Dance at the Difference! We had trial class at another dance school where my daughter started crying 15 minutes into the trial. Hence, she was rather nervous for her trial class at DATD. When we arrived, Ms Dinie asked if she would like to read some princess books while waiting for class to start, and my daughter brightened up immediately! I was very impressed by how the teachers here are really warm and knows exactly how to motivate children! Another example - my daughter had difficulties with executing the LA walk. Ms Asya did not stress her out over this, but sent a video for her to practice at home. I have never seen my daughter so determined to do something well! She practiced twice daily and happily told me that Ms Asya praised her progress at the next class. This experience became an important memory I tapped on whenever she faced other learning difficulties. I was also amazed by how they managed to get my daughter on stage to perform for the recital. I was ready for her to freeze up on stage but she executed all the moves! Special thanks to Ms Asya, Ms Layla, Ms Dinie and Ms LJ for creating a joyful environment for my daughter to learn in. I would also like to compliment Ms Jessica, who is so prompt with responding to all questions and admin issues! I also appreciate how the instructions provided (e.g., for showcase, recitals etc.,) are always very clear and detailed. I highly recommend DATD to all parents!
I take my daughter here every Saturday and she loves it. I participate in the classes with her. We do the parent and toddler class. There is a good mix of boys and girls. She was a little timid at first (only 1.5 YO now 2) but we stuck with it and now she has a ball and knows the names of the other kids and she knows (most of) the routine. Laura-Jane is amazing with kids, friendly patient and extremely knowledgeable. All the fun activities are clearly designed to prep for dancing later on. There is a nice viewing room as well which I've sat in while Grandma took over 1 week. I've seen that they do birthday party packages like a dance party for the kids as well but I've not done that yet. Highly recommended!
My daughter has attends dance here since she was 4 and is now 6! She loves the studio and her teachers and has really blossomed into a happy little dancer. Thanks DATD! ☺️
My daughter was with DATD from under 2 years old until she was nearly 7. We are leaving Singapore and are very sad to say goodbye to such a wonderful dance school. She’s loved progressing through the classes over these years, and the highlights for us have been the amazing annual show they put on (which is highly professional). Couldn’t recommend them enough!
All three of my daughters have had such a wonderful experience at Dance at the Difference. The teachers are really special, and truly put the kids enjoyment and development at the centre of all that they do. My girls have all progressed with the same consistent teachers over the many years. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a positive and uplifting experience for their kids, one where children develop into confident and passionate dancers.

Dance At The Difference uses a '$$' price indicator, which places it in the mid-range for Singapore holiday camp and dance programmes. Holiday camps are typically priced as a per-day rate, a per-week block, or a full-camp package rather than a per-session fee — confirm the exact structure directly, as the total cost will depend on the duration of the camp and the number of days enrolled. Ask whether the fee includes all materials, any costume or attire requirements, and whether a registration or deposit is payable to secure a place. Sibling discounts and early-bird rates are common in this category and worth enquiring about. See the full holiday camp cost guide for Singapore →
Many dance and holiday camp providers in Singapore offer a trial class or a drop-in day so that children and parents can assess fit before committing to a full programme. It is worth asking Dance At The Difference directly whether a single trial session is available ahead of a multi-day camp booking, and what the cost for that trial would be. When attending a trial, observe whether the teaching pace matches your child's current level, whether the group size allows for individual attention, and whether the teaching style encourages participation comfortably. A good fit on these points matters more than the price alone when choosing a holiday programme.
No specific instructor credentials are listed publicly for Dance At The Difference. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each instructor's dance training background, performance or teaching experience, and any relevant certifications such as RAD, ISTD, or equivalent. For holiday camps specifically, it is also worth asking about the instructor-to-student ratio and how the programme is structured across the day. If your child has a particular interest — contemporary, ballet, hip-hop, or creative movement — confirm that the camp's syllabus aligns with that before booking.
