We engaged Shawn Chua as our ID for a partial renovation of our kitchen and master bedroom toilet—a project that came with many concerns, as partial renovations are never easy. From the start, Shawn was patient, attentive, and supportive, always taking time to understand our needs and reassure us along the way. His advice was practical and thoughtful, often guiding us on what was truly necessary versus what could be avoided. We were especially grateful for his close supervision and follow-ups while we were away, as well as his prompt responses whenever we had questions. I deliberately chose to write this review a few months after handover to see how things held up—and I’m glad to say we remain very happy with the results. Even when we requested some small additions after completion, Shawn was accommodating and quick to act, ensuring everything was done smoothly. Shermin came referred by my friend's sister and I was very pleased with the experience. She made the process of renovation very seamless, from the planning process to selection of materials and eventually the actual renovation itself, providing the professional inputs needed while also incorporating my ideas for the house. The workmanship was excellent. Cabinetry and fittings were installed with great precision, and the finishing was clean and professional. Materials used were of high quality, giving the kitchen a solid, premium feel. The layout was well-thought-out, maximizing functionality and space. Shermin's team were friendly, respectful, and always punctual. I especially appreciated how they protected my existing flooring and kept the work area neat. The team also did a thorough clean-up at the end of the project, leaving the space move-in ready. Minor defects were handled seriously and Shermin arranged for timely touch-ups without any hassle. During our search for a suitable ID, he stood out the most as he was the only designer who was detailed, highly efficient and has a great taste in design. During the renovation, he communicated every progress and immediately notify us if any changes happen along the way. Tee is impressive in his ability to find solutions that are not only aesthetic on the outside, but functional on the inside!
