Absolutely Appalling Workmanship and Zero Accountability I engaged this contractor to build a simple outdoor wet kitchen, and the experience has been nothing short of disastrous. The workmanship was so poor that it has resulted in ongoing damage to my property — and the contractor has refused to take proper responsibility. 1. Substandard materials and construction They used non-galvanized steel for an outdoor, exposed kitchen. Within one month, the entire frame — including the doors and hinges — was rusting. No competent contractor would ever choose such unsuitable materials for external work. 2. Severe water leakage — even through the wall Whenever it rained heavily, water leaked from the ceiling on all sides. To make matters worse, even the additional wall they built was not sealed properly, and water continues to seep from the middle of the wall until today. This reflects a complete lack of understanding of proper waterproofing and structural requirements. 3. Damage to new cabinetry Due to their negligence, the cabinetry installed afterward is now damaged, swollen, and moldy. This is not just inconvenient — it poses a genuine hygiene concern. 4. Failed “rectification” due to their own poor workmanship They did come back once to “rectify” the issues, but the fixes barely solved anything because the underlying problems stemmed from their use of the wrong materials and shoddy installation in the first place. Instead of addressing the root causes, they applied superficial fixes that made no meaningful difference. After that, they refused to offer any proper solution or compensation despite the ongoing defects. This contractor has demonstrated incompetence, poor construction standards, and a complete lack of professionalism. I strongly advise anyone considering them to avoid this company entirely. I will never recommend them, and I genuinely hope no one else has to suffer the financial loss, property damage, and frustration that I did. I engaged Kelvin to help design and build a kitchen cabinet for the smart kitchen display in my smart experience centre. The process was seamless and smooth, from inception to the actual execution of the job. Kelvin knew exactly what I had in mind for the kitchen cabinet and he was able to deliver a high quality work at a very reasonable price. He also understood the urgency of this job and helped to ensure that the installation took place within a very short period of time. Kelvin was also very receptive to last minute design changes and never failed to show a positive attitude despite my countless change requests. His team also displayed professionalism throughout the installation and were meticulous in every step of the process - from assembling the kitchen cabinet to helping me clean up after the job was done.
