About Doctor Anywhere Virtual Clinic

About Doctor Anywhere Virtual Clinic

Doctor Anywhere Virtual Clinic is a telehealth GP service operating islandwide from its registered address at 460 Alexandra Rd, Singapore 119963. It holds no regulatory licences on file with KakiList, which is a material gap for a healthcare provider — every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence and every consulting doctor must be registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC). The Google rating of 2.8 from 451 reviews is a robust sample and sits below the threshold one would expect from a primary-care provider; prospective patients should read recent reviews carefully before proceeding.

Doctor Anywhere operates as a virtual GP platform, meaning consultations take place via app or video rather than in-person. The typical patient journey involves downloading the app or accessing the service via the website, selecting a GP from the available roster, attending a video consultation, and receiving an e-prescription or medical certificate digitally. Before booking, confirm that the consulting doctor's name appears on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg, and that the clinic premises (including the registered Alexandra Road address) holds a valid MOH Healthcare Services Licence. For conditions requiring physical examination, imaging, or blood work, a telehealth consultation may result in an in-person referral — factor this into your care pathway.

To get started, book a consultation through the Doctor Anywhere platform and confirm the named doctor's SMC registration before the appointment begins.

This is the first time we ask for a house call. My husband was in great pain and has to bed rest. It was impossible to go see GP. He doesn’t want to spent CNY in hospital. We were very blessed to found Doctors Anywhere. Doc Angela was very professional and compassionate. She was very careful with the assessment and also in administration of the medication. The whole experience was very positive and comfortable. We are grateful for her making the trip. Also the admin was very fast in responding my WhatsApp and helpful. Making the whole experience so reassuring and pleasant. Thank you very much for the care and support given to us.

Has been engaging DA for my baby vaccine, yesterday i met a very lousy dr, Dr darren. During the consultation, important aspects of my baby’s growth and feeding were not discussed. The doctor did not ask how much milk my baby is drinking, nor did he explain my son’s weight, height, or growth percentile. These are essential components of a 4-month developmental and vaccination review, and I was disappointed that they were overlooked. In addition, I informed Dr Darren that my baby was crying because it was already past his milk feeding time and he will be taking another dose of Rotavirus and need to wait at least 30 mins for milk again. Despite this, he continued taking his time writing and searching on Google on my son's stork bite on the back of his head instead of proceeding with the vaccination promptly. I have already informed him that my baby doctor from Thomson told me it's a stork bite and that it will eventually go off when he's older. My baby continued crying unnecessarily while waiting, which was distressing for both my child and myself. Most concerning, my son received two injections, one on each thigh. However, after administering the jabs, Dr Darren did not remember which thigh he had already injected and had to ask again. I had to remind him which thigh had been given the injection. This made me extremely uncomfortable and worried, as proper documentation and attentiveness are critical during infant vaccinations. And i emailed to the CS no reply email, called up the hotline its always engaged. not sure what they are doing.

My experience was downright unacceptable. I was forced to wait three hours for a medication delivery within Singapore, only for it to show up close to midnight on a weekday. What an unreasonable and irresponsible delay for something as critical as medication! To make matters worse, the customer service I received from Diana was appalling. She explicitly promised to reschedule the delivery for the next day as I told her I need to sleep already, but she failed to take any action whatsoever. As a result, the delivery went through as originally scheduled, waking up my entire household when the intercom rang late at night. The delivery staff even confirmed that they had never been informed of the change I requested. What is more infuriating is that Diana tried to charge me a $20 redelivery fee to change timeslot to the next morning that was clearly caused by the company’s own incompetence. It is astonishing that a representative cannot complete the most basic task, and even more horrifying that the company’s first instinct is to impose additional charges rather than take responsibility. This entire ordeal makes it painfully obvious that the company cares far more about squeezing money out of customers than providing any meaningful support, even to people relying on essential medication. Their staff are also unprofessional, failing to do a simple task and lack any common sense, much less empathy. After this disgraceful experience, I will never be using this app again.

Hi I consult doctor on 1107am today and I called in to check for delivery status on 12 Sth and called in again to check for status for 1.30pm 1. Why do you guys allocate timeframe to the next available one hour time slot which is 12pm? Does you mean that if I consult doctor on 1101am I have to wait for 12pm? 2. Your customer service told me that three hour time frame is for the purpose for clinic to prepare medicine! WHAT KiND of medicine need three hour to prepare?! This is ridiculous. 3. My medicine - I have to eat medicine before my lunch meal today, but was FRUSTRATED waiting for your rider. What is happening? Why can’t you shorten the time frame?! I can’t imagine 24k given good review to your apps in apps store! even I consult doctors downstairs , I could have get the medicine by 12sth! Then why do I need to pay for the same price for longer time?! I have good experience on my first use on doctor anywhere during 2022. It delivers within one hours. Your service is just getting worse by NOW! I can’t tolerate this I would want a reply on this!

I would like to express my appreciation for the professionalism and compassionate service provided by Assessor, Ms Hwee Yee during my father's recent SDA. Throughout the assessment process, the assessor demonstrated exceptional care and understanding. She took the time to explain the assessment procedures clearly to my family, ensuring we were well-informed and comfortable at every stage. The assessor was particularly patient and respectful when interacting with my father, creating a supportive environment that helped ease what could have been a stressful experience. Her thorough and meticulous approach in evaluating my father's condition gave us confidence that his needs and circumstances were properly understood and documented. I was impressed by the assessor's professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail. She answered all our questions comprehensively and maintained clear communication throughout. The timely follow-up and clear communication after the assessment were also much appreciated. Thank you for providing such excellent and compassionate service during this important assessment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Doctor Anywhere Virtual Clinic charge?

Doctor Anywhere operates on a per-visit pricing model, with telehealth GP consultations typically priced in the S$20–40 range depending on the time of day and consultation type — though you should confirm the current fee schedule on their platform before booking, as pricing for virtual clinics can vary by slot and service tier. Items that may be billed on top of the consultation include e-prescriptions (dispensed to a partner pharmacy for collection or delivery), medical certificates, and any investigations requiring an in-person visit such as blood panels (S$60–200), swab tests, or X-rays. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned or recurring treatment, request a written breakdown of the expected costs — including prescriptions and follow-up reviews — before committing. Is Doctor Anywhere Virtual Clinic MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

KakiList has no regulatory licences on file for Doctor Anywhere Virtual Clinic, which is a significant gap. Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every consulting doctor must be on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg; search by the named doctor's full name to confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. Before attending any consultation, confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the individual doctor's SMC registration. For a telehealth platform with a rotating roster of GPs, ask for the assigned doctor's name in advance so you can verify before the appointment begins. Neither piece of verification alone is sufficient — both are required under Singapore law for a lawful medical practice. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Doctor Anywhere Virtual Clinic?

Telehealth GP consultations are generally not MediSave-claimable for routine outpatient visits under the standard S$500/year MediSave 500 limit, as MediSave outpatient withdrawal for GP visits is currently restricted to in-person consultations at CDMP-accredited clinics for listed chronic conditions. Confirm with Doctor Anywhere directly whether their platform has CDMP accreditation for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidaemia before assuming MediSave applies. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life typically cover inpatient and day-surgery claims; standard outpatient GP teleconsultations are usually self-pay regardless of IP coverage. Some corporate insurance and company healthcare plans do cover telehealth — check your employer's panel list to see if Doctor Anywhere is included. For any investigation or procedure arising from a telehealth referral to an in-person setting, request a financial counselling session at the receiving clinic so you receive a written estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding.
