Families considering Dover Park Hospice typically begin with a care assessment to establish the patient's medical condition, mobility requirements, pain management needs, and the level of support the family can provide at home. Palliative care can be delivered in-patient at the hospice, through home hospice visits, or via day hospice programmes — the appropriate pathway depends on the patient's clinical needs and family circumstances. Key decision-makers, including next-of-kin and the patient's existing care team, are usually involved early. A social worker or care coordinator can help families navigate financial assistance, advance care planning, and the emotional dimensions of end-of-life decisions.
To begin, contact Dover Park Hospice by phone or through the enquiry form on their website to arrange an initial care assessment and discuss which service pathway best fits your family's needs.

Our family wished to express our deepest gratitude to the entire Dover Park Hospice team (Level 4) for the exceptional care you provided to my Dad in his final days. From the moment he was admitted, every doctor, nurse, social worker, volunteer and staff member showed him not only professionalism, but genuine compassion, dignity, and warmth. Your team created a peaceful and comforting environment for him, and for our family as well. The way you attended to his needs with patience, gentleness, and respect truly touched our hearts. During one of the most difficult seasons of our lives, you carried us with your kindness and guided us with clarity and empathy. Thank you for treating my Dad with such honor and love. Your work is sacred, and our family is deeply appreciative. You made his final journey one of peace, comfort, and grace. We will always remember your care. With heartfelt thanks, Dorothy, Eric, Angela and family of Mr Soh
This review took a long while to do but better late than never. My Dad was diagnosed with Dementia in 2020 and subsequently, liver cancer and organ failure. He passed away in January of 2024. In the final few months, I am thankful TTSH connected me with Dover Park Hospice for home palliative care. Dad was too frail to be moving around and we didn't want him to pass on in the hospital. I knew Dad would be most at ease at home where love ones are around. Dover Park doctor and nurses were called in to make sure his room was set up and had all the necessary things to assist us when caring for him in his final journey. What really took a load off my mind was that we did not have to worry about anything. The service was free (thanks to all the generous donors), the nurses were 24 hours accessible and would deliver the medication if need be. We just need to pay for the medication. No paperwork to fill except for some general ones, nothing too complicated. Everything was done sensitively, at our pace and with no pressure or rush. As a caregiver, I didn't realise how much their quiet support can bring me such relief. It was an emotional crutch. Thank you Dr Mervyn Koh, Dr Zhi Yi, Dr Hoh Sek Yew, Nurses Katherine Lim and Ping Ping for your love and compassion during Simon Ng's last days. We will always remember your kindness during those challenging times.
To dearest Dover Park Hospice team I am writing to express my deepest gratitude and admiration for the exceptional care and service you provided to my late aunt during her time at your hospice. Your dedication, compassion, and professionalism made a profound difference not only to her but to our entire family. Throughout her journey, your entire team from the Docs, Nurses and Social worker Michelle consistently went above and beyond to ensure she was treated with dignity, respect, and unwavering kindness. The comfort and peace she experienced under your care were deeply meaningful to her, and it provided us with solace knowing she was surrounded by such devoted individuals. Every gesture, no matter how small, demonstrated the depth of your commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment and even the beautiful card that you hv mail to us. From the warm smiles to the attentive medical care, your team exemplifies the very essence of humanity and empathy. It was an incredibly touching gesture that provided comfort and reminded us of the compassion at the heart of your work. We will forever cherish the care and love you extended to my aunt and the immeasurable support you gave our family during a challenging time. Please know that your work and dedication leave a lasting impact, and we hold your hospice in the highest regard. THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH With heartfelt appreciation, Eileen, niece of Teo Bee Lian

Dover Park Hospice operates across multiple care settings. In-patient hospice care provides round-the-clock medical and nursing support at the TTSH Integrated Care Hub, suited to patients requiring intensive symptom management or who can no longer be safely cared for at home. Home hospice services bring a multidisciplinary team — including doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals — to the patient's residence on a scheduled visit basis, allowing families to remain the primary caregivers with professional support. A day hospice programme may also be available for patients who are ambulatory and able to attend sessions during the day, returning home in the evenings. The appropriate model depends on the patient's clinical stability, the family's caregiving capacity, and available social support. A trial or transitional period between settings is common as needs evolve.
Dover Park Hospice employs a multidisciplinary palliative care team that typically includes registered nurses, palliative care physicians, medical social workers, and allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and counsellors. Staff in hospice settings undergo specialist training in pain and symptom management, advance care planning, and psychosocial support for patients and families. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile. Families should ask Dover Park Hospice directly about the professional registrations of the clinical team (e.g. Singapore Nursing Board, Singapore Medical Council) and the organisation's AIC or MOH registration status. Insurance coverage for staff and patients during care delivery should also be confirmed as part of the initial intake conversation.
