I recently had a sinus procedure with Dr Alex and I’m very pleased with the experience. He has a kind, soft spoken manner that makes the process comfortable. He is clearly meticulous with his work and takes a very thorough, grounded approach to patient care. The clinic is also well managed. I consulted Dr Alex Tham after a random thyroid discovery and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and smoothly I managed to secure an appointment through my insurance medical attending advisor. Came to Dr Alex Tham for a consultation with regard to severe nasal congestion and ear problems. The entire experience / journey : wasn’t as scary as unpleasant as I had had imagined it to be. Dr Alex ensured each step was carefully explained and almost painlessly executed. Frankly - it’s was very bearable - and I was able to return to office work after 5 days of rest. After 1x day surgery + 5/6 post surgery consultations - it’s now cleared out - adeniod swelling is down, nasal cavity clear and wide and I’m feeling much better. I was able to recover within 1.5 months from surgery and I’m back to scuba diving and sports. Dr Alex is very skilled and patient with teaching me about how the surgery will alleviate my symptoms and issues I simply shrugged away all these years. Thank you Dr Alex Tham and team ! I saw Dr Alex Tham at Asian Healthcare Specialists @ Mount Alvernia for my sleep apnea, and I’m really thankful for his care and support throughout my treatment. I went through barbed repositioning pharyngoplasty, septoplasty, bilateral inferior turbinoplasty and cryotherapy of the posterior nasal nerves, and Dr Tham explained everything clearly and made sure I knew what to expect. The first part of recovery was rough — I had some bleeding and even fainted once — but Dr Tham was very attentive, followed up regularly, and guided me on how to take care of myself post-surgery. Thanks to his detailed advice and genuine concern, I’ve recovered well and feel so much better now.
