For a first visit to a GP clinic, patients typically call ahead to confirm opening hours and whether a particular consultation is covered by their Integrated Shield Plan or MediSave. A standard GP consultation at a private clinic runs S$25–60, with additional charges for investigations such as blood panels, swabs, or X-rays depending on your presenting condition. MediSave can be used for outpatient consultations under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — covering conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia — within the S$500–700 annual withdrawal limits.
To book a consultation, call the clinic directly on the phone number listed to confirm current hours and whether walk-in appointments are accepted on the day.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
The clinic had a retro feel to it, which was good Dr. Chan has a friendly and modest demeanor. He is amiable and has amazing on-the-spot diagnoses; this may be because of his senior doctor experience. The lady at the reception desk was friendly and welcoming. She also labelled my cough syrup with a clear indication of my medication. She spoke with such maternal tenderness. Paying only with cash or Paynow is acceptable to me. Thank you Dr Chan and Jasmine.
When I was waiting at reception I saw how tired the doctor appeared, which is perfectly normal seeing 5-6 other patients in the waiting area. When it came to my turn for consultations he was one of the friendliest doctors I’ve had the pleasure of speaking to. A simple food poisoning but he took the precaution to have me lie down and apply pressure and taps to identify for complication. He explained the reason for each procedure clearly and gave very sound advice for how I should alter my diet for the day. Recommended :)
Very kind doctor and receptionist, thanks so much. Maybe call ahead to see when you can come just to be sure
worst ever receiptionist!! Clinic closed at 5.30pm!! no patient is waiting. she turned away pregnant lady patient who walked all the way the clinic at 4.45pm
Kind and efficient ladies working at reception. GP is the same. Very central location. Just note that the clinic's opening times differ from when the GP is actually in. If it opens at 9am, then the GP is in from 9.30am for instance. Because he has to do at home visits first.

A standard GP consultation at a private clinic in Singapore typically runs S$25–60, with follow-up visits often at the lower end of that range. On top of the consultation fee, expect additional charges for investigations — blood panels S$60–200, X-rays S$80–150 — as well as prescribed medications and any procedures carried out during the visit. GST applies on private medical services. For planned investigations or chronic-disease management, MediSave can offset part of the cost under the S$500–700 annual outpatient withdrawal limits for CDMP-listed conditions. Confirm the exact consultation fee and any co-payments with the clinic directly before your visit. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No MOH Healthcare Services Licence or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration appears in this listing's records. Before booking, you should verify the clinic's licence on the MOH licensee directory and confirm the consulting doctor's name and registration status on the SMC public register at smc.gov.sg — both checks are straightforward and take under two minutes. The SMC register will also show any specialist accreditation and disciplinary history. If you are visiting for a specialist-level concern rather than a general consultation, confirm whether the doctor holds the relevant SMC specialist accreditation or an Academy of Medicine Singapore fellowship (FAMS) for that discipline. Listing data is incomplete — contact Dr Chan Peng Mun Clinic Cuppage Plaza directly to confirm details.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, but coverage at a GP clinic is more limited — check your plan's outpatient rider terms. MediSave can be used for outpatient CDMP-listed chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, and others) within the S$500–700 annual withdrawal limit, provided the clinic is a CDMP-accredited provider. For any planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic that clearly splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. If you intend to claim from your insurer, confirm pre-authorisation requirements in advance to avoid disputes after treatment.
