When my daily actions gradually became slower, my general practitioner wrote a referral letter for me to see a neurologist. We decided to consult Dr. Lee. After a thorough examination, he concluded that I had early-onset Parkinson’s disease (PD). He patiently explained that the symptoms are not limited to uncontrolled movements such as tremors. Bradykinesia and rigidity are also common signs of PD. This diagnosis was later confirmed through a brain scan. Dr. Lee also suggested practical ways to improve my home environment so that I could remain safe and independent in my daily activities. After a year on medication, my symptoms persisted. Dr. Lee then introduced the option of surgery—something I did not know was available. He explained the deep brain stimulation (DBS) procedure in detail, shared examples of patients who had benefited from it, and referred me to a neurosurgeon. I decided to proceed with the surgery, and it significantly reduced my symptoms. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made.
Dr Lee has been looking after my mother since her stroke almost 10 years ago. My mother really likes him as he talks to her in Teochew and is caring and encouraging. He is always patient and explain things in details so that we will understand. So unlike other private practioner whose priority is to make as much money as possible from patients. That is why Dr Lee is always fully booked and we have to wait sometimes an hour to see him even though we have an appointment. Sandra,Cindy and Lily are also very friendly and helpful.
Dr. Lee has a brilliant gift for understanding complex situations. His expertise is exceptional, and he brings so much sunshine 🌞 to his patients and their families. I found great comfort in discussing my father's medical condition with him. He didn't just listen—he truly empathized, drawing from his own experiences as both a son and a father. Dr. Lee is not only a skilled physician but also a loving and caring family man. We are deeply grateful for the warmth and compassion he brings to his work.
Worst clinic experience ever. Was told to come by 1:30pm, waited for 1hr and still got 3 more patients waiting ahead. All receptionist were playing their phones and didn’t give a damn. No matter how good medical practice Dr. Lee has (question mark), I guess there are always similar neurologists elsewhere with much better service.
From my first visit, it was clear that Dr Lee is a leader in neurology, undoubtedly the best neurologist in Singapore. Dr Lee combines extensive knowledge with genuine empathy, taking the time to explain my condition in clear terms. His thorough approach and warmth instilled confidence in my care. The entire staff is friendly and professional, ensuring a seamless experience. Dr Lee's commitment to follow-up and care for his patients truly sets him apart. If you need a top neurologist in Singapore, I cannot recommend Dr Lee highly enough!
