New patients typically begin with an initial consultation and examination, during which the dentist assesses oral health, discusses presenting concerns, and recommends a treatment plan. It is worth confirming what the first-visit consultation covers — including whether X-rays or scaling are bundled — before attending. Patients with specific conditions such as gum disease, dental anxiety, or the need for restorative or cosmetic work should mention these when booking so the appropriate appointment length can be scheduled. Confirm the cancellation and no-show policy at the time of booking.
To arrange an appointment, reach Dr. Frank Liew & Co Dental Surgeons by phone or through the enquiry form listed on their KakiList profile.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Had a pleasant experience with Dr Beth here! I had a fillings done and I must say it really was one of the most comfortable treatments I've come across — very gentle yet efficient. I've experienced some really rough dentists over the years so I'm glad to finally find one that can be trusted. Super friendly too so that's a good bonus!
Dr Beth made my root canal treatment a very pleasant experience for me. She's very patient and careful with me as it is my first time doing it. I'm definitely amazed by her skills and the outcome of it. Finally found the best dentist after a few unpleasant ones before this. Will definitely recommend her.
Dr Ong is the best dentist ever. He is very kind, knowledgeable and experienced. His prices are also reasonable and relatively affordable compared to other dentists. My family and I have been going there for years, he has done wisdom tooth removal, root canal, crown and more for us. My children also enjoy going here. Highly recommend for everyone :)
Dr. Frank Liew is the best dentist I've had, he always strives to do what is best for the patient and never pushes for anything unnecessary, For instance I had a undetermined tooth pain which I was 70% sure it was a particular tooth, Dr Liew felt its best to leave as is should it be the wrong tooth that got crowned, few months later I realize that turns out out it was the tooth next to it that had a loose filling and not a crack tooth which I initially thought. It's really a blessing to have a doctor to whom you can trust wholeheartedly especially on issues which are life changing no matter how minor it might be. The staff are always friendly and pleasant, in a way it shows the great working atmosphere of the clinic.
Had a great experience here at this practice. Moving over here as an expat, this was my first introduction to dental work in Singapore. The surgery is extremely hygenic with some top of the range equipment. Dr Beth was a fantastic dentist who gave some sound advice in terms of a solid treatment plan going forward. She is patient and very meticulous in her approach. Highly recommended.

No referral is required to book a first appointment at a private dental practice. Most clinics will ask you to complete a short health history form — either online in advance or on arrival — covering medications, allergies, and any existing conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, or blood-thinning therapy, as these can affect treatment planning and anaesthesia decisions. For general dental check-ups and routine scaling, no preparation is needed beyond the health form. If you are attending for a specific concern — pain, swelling, a broken tooth, or cosmetic work — describe the issue clearly when booking so the right appointment length is allocated. Patients looking to claim from Medisave or integrated shield plans for eligible procedures such as surgical extractions should check their plan's dental benefits and ask the clinic for a cost estimate in advance.
Dental surgeons practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), a statutory board under the Ministry of Health. You can verify any dentist's registration on the SDC's public register at sdc.gov.sg — look up the dentist by name to confirm active registration status and the absence of any disciplinary notations. No regulatory licences have been listed for Dr. Frank Liew & Co Dental Surgeons in the current KakiList data. Before attending, confirm the name of the treating dentist and verify their SDC registration directly on the public register. This takes under two minutes and is the single most important step before any dental treatment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
