Receptionist Rubana was helpful even on the phone when I enquired if Dr Joyce was on duty. However, Dr Joyce was on leave till 7 Dec 2025. I walked in to be treated by Locum Dr Lisa Heng, with intention to replenish my cough syrup n runny nose medications as I m down with cough , itchy throat during my trip to Vietnam n fever upon my arrival to Spore 25 Nov. After getting my medications from Dr Lisa Heng n went home, upon advice from a fren, I did a swap test n was test covid positive. Im disappointed Dr Lisa didn't even suggest doing a swap test on covid when I saw her earlier, despite the obvious symptoms of it, as I ve any elderly mum staying with me. The next day, i called up clinic n receptionist Rubana suggested I come down to consult Dr Josephine Lo, another locum for the day, before doing the swap test. What a contrast! Dr Josephine Lo was warm n friendly, asked relevant questions n gave me advice on the procedures to do. And making sure I ve all the necessary medications for my coming trip in December. Since I ve done my own swap test, there's no need to do again to confirm. I m grateful for Dr Josephine n receptionist Robana for making my day less anxious. On top of that, Dr Josephine didn't charge me any consultation fees. Thank you!

Dr Lisa attended to me. She lacked etiquette and was disrespectful on how she conveyed my diagnosis. Would highly encourage for patients to visit other women’s clinic if possible.

Doctor is no doubt patient n and caring, AT FIRST. But the after service sucks to the max. After the blood test report is out, the clinic assistant only called once and no follow up. When I call back to ask , the clinic assistant still can say she call me but I no answer. Is this pushing the blame? Is this my fault? Nevermind it’s okay. Then I went to hear my report on a Wednesday night due to their unjustifiable clinic hours. The doctor explained , bring things through quickly. Before I could even ask to clarify more in depth, the doctor say- is there anything else you wanna know or ask? If so , there will be surcharge. For godness sake, which doctor will say such thing ? Isn’t it the doctor job to explain after the blood tests reports? Why ask more will be charged? On top of that, for the extract same type of medicine I get from other GP, this clinic jet up the price up to 4 times the one I get from another side. What a black clinic! Updated: Are u guys unable to locate or just turning a deaf ear to it bluntly? A doctor herself can’t be upright about what she have done upon the reviewing of the report then what make a patient to have confidence in her again?

I am writing to provide a review of my experience at the Joyce partner clinic in toa payoh. I brought my first time helper to the clinic for 6 monthly checkup. I was going to bring her to healthway medical but there is a long queue so while walking around chance upon this clinic that is completely empty. They told me the checkup was $30. However, after they check my helper they told me they need to do further check for her because she lost 2-3kg since coming here. My helper is healthy with no symptoms and I did not deprive her of any food. The doctor insisted that we do a thyroid function test for her because she told me the weight loss is significant and that Mom will ask and question if i do not agree. I felt compelled to do it since i was a first timer employer. She told me the test is $50. When i paid, the receptionist told me i have to pay another $20 for consult and said that he is giving me some discount and charging me $100. Then the doctor who appears to be a locum and not experienced open the door and told me that the charge is lower because they use another lab. I did not check my receipt until i was home and realise i was charged $50. I called the clinic and was told that the doctor made a mistake about the price. I asked around my friends and gp friends and they were all surprised that i was being forced to do the blood test!! I have friends whose helper dropped way more weight than my helper because it was adjustment and there was no issue. One dropped 70kg to 63kg, another dropped 65kg to 49kg. I told them the doctor insisted i paid for the extra checkup because she says” i am going to tick the unintentional weight loss box and at least if we do the blood test mom will not question”. My $30 bill became $100. It has been more than 1 week and the clinic still have not called me to inform me about my helper blood test. This is a clinic that i would strongly advise against anyone to go! It is now 2 wks since. I have called the clinic every day and no pick up. I even went down to the clinic last week but it was not open. This is unacceptable. I paid for the test, I should be informed of the result! Update: the clinic has called me and apologise for the experience and offered refund of $70 for the consult and test. I hope they will learn from this experience.

She is very caring, patient, professional and sincere. She took her time to understand your condition and will recommend the best solution for you. I'm very blessed and grateful to know Dr Joyce.
