Rotated through the department as part of a medical school posting, giving me a back-end view. All the staff are warm, collegial and attentive to patients. They work efficiently yet do not take shortcuts in their care. In wards, patients are reviewed and discussed frequently and to ensure their safety and recovery. Clinic visits are patient-centered, without leaning into unnecessary investigations. Each diagnostic or treatment are explained well to patients, and alternatives are always discussed, making consults highly transparent. The younger, more junior staff are extremely competent yet humble enough to know when to ask for senior guidance. I am confident patients will be in good hands under this team. Too many doctors to mention, but a special shoutout to Dr John Loh for a highly positive experience!
