Very disappointed with the overall experience. Considering the fees charged by the clinic for the sinus surgery, I expected much better communication and service from the clinic. I was informed by the receptionist that the doctor was a panel doctor, which would help my insurance claims. I only later found out she isn’t empaneled at her current clinic. This has resulted in my insurance premium increasing multiple times instead of just once. This was something that should have been transparent from the start. Attempts to seek clarification via email and phone were frustrating, as the receptionist was unhelpful and largely unresponsive. For a private clinic, the overall experience and support have been far below expectations. Would not recommend.
Life-Changing Experience! 🌟 I'm forever grateful to Dr. Lim Ing Ruen and her exceptional team! After years of struggling with sinusitis, numerous hospitalizations, and temporary relief from antibiotics, Dr. Lim's expertise and care finally brought me lasting relief. Her thorough examination and clear explanation gave me confidence in her surgical approach. The procedure was a success, and I'm now breathing freely through both nostrils, pain-free and mucous-free! Special shoutout to the lovely Chinese lady at the counter - her warmth and kindness made me feel at home. If you're struggling with sinusitis like I was, trust Dr. Lim Ing Ruen and her team. They're truly the best! 🙏 5/5 stars"
Extremely unprofessional service by Dr Lim. Consulted her as an emergency as another specialist whom we were referred to was away. I was in my third trimester then, without even checking, suggested to book a day ward. Upon knowing the cost, we decided to walk away. She quickly called us back in. Did a quick check, and recommended cauterisation. Instead of giving us time to think, she went ahead to cauterise both noses. The nose bleed had already stopped before the check. So we felt that it was uncalled for, on hindsight, knowing that pregnancy causes nose bleeds. She was ignorant about the costs of the day ward and the cauterisation, and were asked to consult the admin staff. This was in 2016, I still had heavy nose bleed in my next pregnancy. Doubt that the cauterisation was necessary. She did not mention any post op procedures, only antibiotics. Till this date, I am still traumatised by the pain of recovery from the cauterisation. I would suggest anyone consulting her should do a second opinion, unless you have deep pockets. As she really did not seem to have cared.
I am a medical doctor with more than a quarter century of practice. My grandfather had passed away from nasopharyngeal carcinoma - cancer of the nose and sinus - when he was in his early fifties. One day, I had been struck on my cheek during a soccer game, and I went for a scan. Although the scan did not show a fracture, it showed that I had a lesion growing in my sinus. Two of my very senior colleagues had a look at the scan, shook their heads, and said that I would be lucky if it wasn't a tumor. Dr Lim was very reassuring when she examined me and inspected the scan. She said that she was confident that it was not a tumor but that I had to be operated on. During the surgery, she found a fungal ball growing inside and removed it expertly. (I was extremely relieved that I did not go down in the same way as my grandfather had; he's very much my hero) That sure was a scare. After that, I found to my pleasant surprise, that my breathing was easier, and my performance in my soccer games improved. From my personal experience, she is an otorhinolaryngologist with one of the best hands that I trust in this part of the world.
Dr. Jeeve and his nurses are friendly, professional, and nice facilities.
