I am a patient who is suffering from slip disc that resulted in numbness to my left arm and shooting pain on my neck. After Dr Lim performed a C5/6 Discectomy with Fusion for me, the shooting pain is no longer there. Numbness had greatly reduced and is getting lesser each day. Dr Lim is a great communicator, empathetic and personable. Each clinic visit leaves me hopeful and positive with his words of encouragement.

Dr Lim recommended me to do a suzuki frame procedure for my fully dislocated finger. I followed his recommendation. 7 weeks after surgery (plus weekly finger therapy at Phoenix Rehab), I am able to regain almost full range of motion for my finger. I was referred to see Dr Lim Yi Jia when I had a severe trigger thumb pain which did not improve after numerous physiotherapy and TCM sessions. At Dr Lim’s advice, I underwent a small surgery mid last year to relieve the compressed tendon; and not only did the wound healed well, the cut was not visible which speaks well of Dr Lim’s skills. When I experienced an acute pain in my lower back last week, I thought of Dr Lim and consulted him immediately. Upon getting the result of the latest MRI scan, he ordered sessions of physiotherapy before the next possible step of an epidural steroid injection. While I'm still undergoing treatment, I’m grateful to have Dr Lim attend to me. He’s extremely patient, and takes time to explain my condition and recommend the most appropriate treatment. I appreciate Dr Lim’s conservative approach of non-invasive methods and keeping surgery as the last resort. At this point, his diagnosis is that surgery would not be required. I recall when I had a similar experience about 3 years back, the doctor had recommended surgery as the next best step to correct the slipped disc. I also appreciate Dr Lim’s friendly disposition and his sense of humor which helps alleviate my apprehension and fear, and most of all, I’m confident I’m in good hands. Thanks Dr Lim!

Dr Lim Yi Jia is one of the kindest doctor with the biggest heart I have ever consulted. Over the period of time when I started seeing him from 2019 to 2023, he treated me for broken ankle, broken humerus, torn ligament and abscesses in the body. He has been seeing my daughter for sport related injuries too. I brought my mum to him for they cast her foot up in the public hospital and told her she she not be able to place her foot on the ground for 3 months. Dr Lim immediately removed the cast and placed her in a boot instead and she could walk with 2 feet with clutches. My family and I are full of gratitude towards Dr Lim. Best doctor ever!

My mum has been seeing Dr Lim for few years on her fingers and knee pain which had bothered her for very long even though she had seen various doctors and undergone several TCM sessions. Dr Lim had really helped my mum to resolve all these issues and now she can use her hand without any pain. Till date, she can lead a normal live. However, I have enormous gratitude towards Dr Lim. During last follow-up with Dr Lim with my mum, my dad had encountered intense pain in his spine which had caused him not able to walk, stand, sit and even lying down. I had quickly asked Dr Lim to help see my dad on these issues. Although my dad is not his patient, he had quickly assess him without any hesistation and found the source of his problem without even getting him to undergoing any tests. I am deeply impressed by his medical skills and knowledge. He had even provided his clinic bed for my dad to lay down to ease his pain. After assessment, I had requested Dr Lim to admit my dad into hospital as he is in a very serious condition. On this, Dr Lim had made so many calls to various hospital departments to request for my dad to be admitted. He did not give up even though he had faced several rejections. I was really touched to see a doctor like him whom is so helpful and full of patience towards my dad even though he was not his patient. He had even arranged my dad to undergo operation on a sunday just so that he can quickly ease the pain and suffering which my dad is facing everyday in hospital. Despite his busy schedule, he still came back on sunday to perform the operation for my dad. He had sacrificed his family time to help my dad which I am deeply touched by his actions as he had done so much more which i felt is already way beyond a doctor responsibilities and call of duty. Dr Lim, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking care of my dad. I cannot imagine the pain and suffering my dad would have if he did not met you. Thank you so much for sacrificing your personal time and commitments to help my dad to ease his pain and ensure his quick recovery. You are truly a saint for my dad and mum.
