About City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy

About City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy

City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy is a specialist clinic located at 1 Fifth Avenue, Guthrie House, offering paediatric-focused physiotherapy and osteopathy services. The clinic holds a 5/5 rating across 376 Google reviews, a robust sample that reflects consistent patient feedback. For paediatric patients, the journey typically begins with an initial consultation to assess the child's presenting condition — whether a developmental motor delay, postural concern, musculoskeletal issue, or post-surgical rehabilitation need. Parents should bring any relevant referral letters, diagnostic reports from a paediatrician, or medical records to the first appointment. Paediatric physiotherapy and osteopathy practitioners are allied-health professionals registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC); their individual registration can be verified on the AHPC public register. Treatment plans are tailored to the child's age, developmental stage, and specific clinical goals, with follow-up frequency agreed at the initial session. The clinic can be reached via WhatsApp, phone, or an online enquiry form.

To take the next step, contact City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy directly via WhatsApp or phone to describe your child's condition and request an initial appointment slot at the Guthrie House clinic.

I was referred by Dr. Roland Chong and love the team here. They are always responsive via WhatsApp. I had a rotator cuff surgery with 2 major tears in my shoulder. I worked with Paul and he was amazing. He really helped me achieve full recovery and was patient, constantly working on my shoulder, pushing me towards the end. Admittingly I was not the most compliant patient; however, with Paul's coaxing we made it through. What is unique about Paul is that he is also an osteopath as well as a physiotherapist. He is able to also perform manipulations (which I simply love). I have gone to him for 9 months and will keep booking regular checkins with him. He has sorted my rotator cuff post surgery and immediately relieved acute back pains. I have referred 3 friends to him and he fixed all 3 of my friends. So yes - he is AMAZING!!! Thank you Paul!

I was referred by my sports injury doctor to Hillary. From day 1, she did a fabulous job meticulously getting to the root of my knee injury, drawing up a rehabilitation regime and helping me through the journey. In all the physiotherapy sessions I had very positive experience and improved progressively. The recommended exercises were spot on and contributed to progressive improvement. I would highly recommend Hillary to anyone who is looking for a very capable and trustworthy physiotherapist, who really knows her stuff well and cares about her patients.

I’ve been seeing Maddy Bantick for a few months, and her treatment has made a significant difference in managing and improving my chronic lower back pain. Maddy’s deep understanding of body mechanics and broad clinical experience has been invaluable in addressing my specific issues, and her approach is both effective and educational. As a certified Pilates instructor, she has a unique ability to explain exercises in a way that’s easy to understand, even for a beginner like me. Her sessions are not only therapeutic but also engaging, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed learning Pilates with her. Maddy is also incredibly friendly, approachable, and truly invested in her patients' well-being. If you're dealing with aches and pains or want to build strength through Pilates, I highly recommend booking a session with Maddy.

Grace Yap my osteopath is simply amazing. She is conscientious and hardworking. She is really a people person and I am always happy after my treatment as she goes all out to help ease my TMJ and I have found much relief from my neck and shoulder tensions with dry needling and shock therapy.I would strongly recommend her to anyone who has TMJ.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy charge?

Paediatric physiotherapy and osteopathy at private clinics in Singapore typically runs S$100–180 per consultation, with follow-up sessions often slightly lower than the initial assessment fee. Investigations such as movement analysis or referral for imaging are billed separately where applicable. Package rates for ongoing rehabilitation courses may be available — confirm directly with the clinic. Note that private allied-health consultations are generally not claimable under MediShield Life or Integrated Shield Plans, and MediSave cannot be used for outpatient physiotherapy or osteopathy under current CPF Board rules. Most patients pay out of pocket, though some corporate insurance policies do reimburse allied-health visits — check your policy before booking. GST applies on private clinic services. Is City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy MOH-licensed and how do I verify the practitioners?

No regulatory licences are listed for this provider in the current KakiList record. Before attending, confirm independently that the clinic premises hold a valid MOH Healthcare Services Licence (verifiable on the MOH licensee directory) and that each treating physiotherapist or osteopath is registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) — searchable by name on the AHPC public register at healthprofessionals.gov.sg. Osteopaths in Singapore are regulated under the Allied Health Professions Act; only AHPC-registered practitioners may legally practise. Physiotherapists are similarly AHPC-registered. Confirming registration takes under two minutes and is the single most important step before any hands-on treatment, particularly for paediatric patients. Verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and each practitioner's AHPC registration before booking, and for any planned course of treatment request a written care plan and cost estimate upfront.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy?

Outpatient physiotherapy and osteopathy at private allied-health clinics are not currently claimable from MediSave under the standard MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal scheme, nor from the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) unless the provider is a CDMP-accredited GP or polyclinic. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) cover inpatient and day-surgery stays but do not typically extend to private outpatient allied-health consultations. Some corporate employee benefit schemes and personal accident or hospitalisation insurance policies do reimburse outpatient physiotherapy — check your specific policy wording and whether the clinic issues itemised receipts in the format your insurer requires. If your child is being referred from a restructured hospital's paediatric outpatient clinic, that hospital-based physiotherapy session may allow MediSave use under specific conditions — clarify with the referring hospital. For any course of treatment at City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy, request a written treatment plan and fee estimate before committing.
