About DR Plus Medical and Paincare Alexandra
DR Plus Medical and Paincare Alexandra is a GP and primary care clinic located at Alexandra Central Mall, serving patients across Singapore. The clinic is KakiList-verified, confirming that operating details and contact channels have been checked by a real person. It holds a 4.9-star rating across 35 Google reviews — a moderate sample that points positively but should be weighed alongside a direct visit. No regulatory licences have been provided for this listing, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed; prospective patients are advised to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council registration before booking.
As a GP clinic, DR Plus Medical and Paincare Alexandra handles everyday primary care including acute consultations, chronic disease management, and general health concerns. If you are managing a long-term condition such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidaemia, confirm whether the clinic participates in the Chronic Disease Management Programme, which allows MediSave 700 to be used for outpatient treatment at enrolled clinics. For specialist-level concerns, the GP can issue a referral letter to a public hospital specialist outpatient clinic, which reduces the consultation fee for Singapore Citizens to roughly S$30–80 with a subsidy, though waiting times for non-urgent appointments typically run 4–12 weeks. Integrated Shield Plan holders should confirm whether the clinic is on their insurer's panel for direct billing before attending. The clinic is reachable via WhatsApp, phone, or online enquiry form.
To book an appointment or check walk-in waiting times, contact DR Plus Medical and Paincare Alexandra directly via WhatsApp or phone before travelling to the Alexandra Central Mall location.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
I had never experienced a good clinic or a doctor who is patient, kind, and easy to talk to before. I went to see Dr. Celeb about my ingrown toenail, which had been bothering me for months. Dr. Celeb listened, observed, and advised me on the next steps. He clearly explained the procedure he would perform. I also appreciated the clinic's aftercare service, where they checked on my well-being. Kudos to Dr Celeb and his team for being a friendly clinic! Will highly recommend people to visit him for his service and humble being. UPDATED: My toe is totally clear. No more pain. A job well done from Dr Caleb's skills.
Dr Caleb is patient and very knowledgeable. He’s able to explain the diagnosis in a layman terms that is easy to understand and appreciate. Thank you very much for your excellent advice.
First time visiting this clinic! Came here for a vaccination. Dr. Seet is very patient and kindly helped me out with official records of my vaccination for work. The receptionist is bilingual and very helpful. Would be interested to visit again esp in their specialty of pain management if there's a need in the future.
I came here at night as it is one of the clinics under my company’s insurance panel. I heard really good reviews prior about the service of both the staff & the doctor. I can now attest to that as my experience was nothing short of amazing. Thank you 🙏🏼
Saw the doctor (Dr Seet) for lower back joint pain, it was fantastic, i was almost immediately better after seeing the doc, kinda miraculous. Consultation fees are reasonable, a very enlightened doctor who is patient and willing to explain and educate. Definitely a 5-star for this clinic. If you don't like seeing doctors, go to this clinic and you'll change your mind.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with specialist-level consultations starting at S$120–250 for a first visit. DR Plus Medical and Paincare Alexandra has not published a fixed fee schedule, so confirm the current consultation rate when you call or WhatsApp ahead. Beyond the base consultation, additional items that may be billed separately include investigations (blood panel S$60–200, X-ray S$80–150), prescriptions, and follow-up reviews. GST applies on private medical services. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan, check whether the clinic is on your insurer's panel for direct billing to avoid paying upfront and reclaiming later. For Chronic Disease Management Programme-enrolled conditions, MediSave 700 can offset outpatient costs at participating clinics — confirm CDMP participation directly with the clinic before your visit. Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. No regulatory licences have been provided for this listing. Before booking — particularly for ongoing or complex care — search for the clinic by address on the MOH licensee directory and search the named doctor's full name on the SMC register. Both checks take under two minutes and protect you from unregistered practitioners. For surgical or procedural work, a Royal College or Academy of Medicine Singapore fellowship (FRCS or FAMS) is the meaningful additional credential beyond basic SMC registration. GP clinics do not typically require fellowship credentials, but confirming the consulting doctor's SMC entry remains essential.
MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment at approved clinics under the MediSave 500 withdrawal limit (S$500 per year for general outpatient use) or the MediSave 700 limit under the Chronic Disease Management Programme, which covers hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, selected mental health conditions, and others. Confirm with the clinic whether it is enrolled in CDMP before assuming MediSave applies to your visit. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan layered on MediShield Life, check whether DR Plus Medical and Paincare Alexandra is on your insurer's panel for direct billing — this avoids out-of-pocket payment and subsequent reimbursement claims. For any planned procedure, ask the clinic for a written financial counselling estimate that clearly splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before committing. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill — request the breakdown in writing, not just verbally.
