Came for consultation with Dr Lee Hung Min through a previous patient of his who did SMILE. I have very high degree & astig, even tho my cornea is thick enough to qualify for SMILE PRO, he recc ICL as I’d have to remove more tissue during SMILE and will result in a thinner cornea in the future. Surgery was held at a separate location. The team there was extremely kind and caring, it was a 10/10 experience there. That being said the surgery was indeed a scary experience. But it also made me realised how important the doctor you choose is. Due to my high astig, after we were done with both eyes he had to check the lens placement and decided to go in on my right eye again (I know I maxed out my anxiety by this point) to ensure I get good vision. Recovery was indeed very quick! Surgery was in the morning, by 8pm or so my vision is pretty clear! And when I came back next morning for post day 1 review, it’s as though nothing happened. Love that the whole process was crystal clear, from pre-surgery to post everything was thought of. Highly recommend Dr Lee if you’re thinking of fixing your vision.

I just did SMILEPro with Dr. Lee Hung Ming here at Asia Pacific Eye Centre in September 2025. I came to know about Dr. Lee after hearing successful stories from my friend, who recently did her LASIK with Dr. Lee as well. During the first assessment, Dr. Lee confidently shared with me the various kinds of treatment available for my consideration. I ultimately chose the SMILEPro option for faster recovery as compared to the LASIK option. Dr. Lee has been very patient with me during the day of the surgery and the whole process was completed in a blink of eye. The surgery was very successful and I regained my eyesight within hours from the surgery. I have also resumed normal activities soon after. It has been a very pleasant experience for me with Dr. Lee and I have already recommended my friends to consider looking for Dr. Lee at Asia Pacific Eye Centre for their LASIK/ SMILEPro/ ICL surgery when they are ready for it. I was comfortable during the whole procedure from the start to the end. The recovery process was fast. I did it in the morning and by late afternoon my vision was almost full recovered.
