About Dr Thirumoorthy Andrew Clinic
Dr Thirumoorthy Andrew Clinic is a general practice clinic located at 8 Simei Street 3, Singapore 529895, serving patients across the island. KakiList has verified operating details and a contact channel for this listing. The clinic holds a 5/5 rating across 4 Google reviews, though this is a very small sample and should be treated as directional only. No regulatory licences are recorded in the current listing data.
For a first GP visit, patients typically walk in or book ahead by phone or the online enquiry form. A standard GP consultation covers presenting complaints, examination, investigations such as blood tests or X-rays where needed, and prescription of medication. For patients managing chronic conditions, the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, and selected mental health conditions. Integrated Shield Plans layered on MediShield Life generally do not cover outpatient GP visits unless the policy includes a rider for outpatient benefits, so most GP consultations are settled in cash or via MediSave under CDMP where eligible.

Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Sister recommended this clinic when she was down - near our place, lady at the registration area was super kind and patient. Immediately directed to do an ART outdoors, waited indoors once negative. Consult with a Vietnamese doctor who was quite gentle. Had a bit of a wait from pharmacy to payment but all in all was an hour max with total bill at $41 thanks to CHAS card. Would recommend to see on a Friday afternoon!
With the influx of cases, this was the only clinic to pickup with little to no wait time and friendly nurses/doctors. Well done!

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with follow-up consultations sometimes priced lower. On top of the consultation fee, investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), X-rays (S$80–150), urine tests, and swabs are billed separately, as are prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. For planned procedures or referrals to specialists, a written financial counselling estimate itemising insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions should be requested before committing. No regulatory licences are recorded in this listing for Dr Thirumoorthy Andrew Clinic. Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory. Every practising doctor must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — searchable by name to confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. Before booking, verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC entry independently. Neither alone is sufficient confirmation. Contact the clinic directly to request these details if they are not displayed on-site or online.
For chronic disease management, MediSave can be used to offset outpatient consultation and medication costs under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, stroke, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, up to S$700 per year per patient. Standard outpatient GP visits outside CDMP allow a lower MediSave withdrawal limit of S$500 per year. Most Integrated Shield Plans do not cover routine GP outpatient visits unless a specific outpatient rider is attached to the policy — check your plan documents before assuming coverage. For any referral onwards to a specialist or a planned procedure, request a written financial counselling estimate from the clinic or receiving facility that clearly splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and cash out-of-pocket portions before proceeding.
