I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic that I feel compelled to share. After feeling unwell since morning, I decided to visit this clinic, which is conveniently located near my home. Before going, I searched online to determine if I needed an appointment, but there were no notes indicating that a prior appointment was required. Upon my arrival at approximately 11:25 am, I was informed that I could not be seen because there were still patients waiting, and it was almost lunchtime. There were only three patients ahead of me, and I was shocked to learn that they couldn’t accommodate one more patient with 35 minutes to go before their supposed lunch break. The nurse even mentioned that if I hadn't made an appointment, I would need to return in the afternoon! It's unrealistic to expect patients to predict when they will need medical care. Overall, the service was terrible, and I left feeling frustrated and neglected. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking urgent care in Singapore.

This is our family go-to clinic whenever we fall sick. We just call ahead to schedule an appointment, so we rarely have to wait long. The clinic assistants are always warm and welcoming, and the doctor is incredibly patient, soft spoken and prescribes effective medication—making each visit a genuinely pleasant experience.

Is Drs Tang and Partners Yung Kuang Jurong MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

No regulatory licence details have been submitted to this listing. Every legitimate clinic in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act, and every practising doctor is listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg. Before booking, search the named consulting doctor's name on the SMC register to confirm active registration status and check for any disciplinary history. The MOH licensee directory is separately searchable by clinic name and address — both checks take under two minutes and are strongly recommended before any first visit. Contact Drs Tang and Partners Yung Kuang Jurong directly to obtain the clinic's MOH licence number and the names of the consulting doctors, then verify each independently. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Drs Tang and Partners Yung Kuang Jurong?

For general GP visits, MediSave is not usable for acute outpatient consultations unless the clinic is enrolled in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP). Under CDMP, eligible patients managing listed chronic conditions — including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions — may withdraw up to S$700 per year from MediSave for outpatient treatment at enrolled CDMP clinics. Confirm with the clinic whether it participates in CDMP before relying on this benefit. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than routine GP visits, though some plans include a GP rider — check your policy documents or call your insurer. For polyclinic-referred specialist outpatient care at public hospitals, Singapore Citizens receive subsidised rates of S$30–80 per visit with typical non-urgent waiting times of 4–12 weeks. A GP referral letter from this clinic can initiate that pathway. For any planned procedure at a specialist or hospital, request a written financial counselling estimate splitting insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket costs before proceeding.
