About Duxton Medical Clinic

About Duxton Medical Clinic

Duxton Medical Clinic is a general practice clinic located at Tanjong Pagar Plaza, serving patients across Singapore. KakiList has verified its operating details and contact channel. The clinic holds a 4.7/5 rating across 85 Google reviews, a moderate sample that provides reasonable directional confidence. No ACRA registration or regulatory licence details have been provided to KakiList at this time, so prospective patients are advised to confirm the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration directly.

Patients typically walk in or book by phone or online form for a GP consultation covering acute illness, minor injuries, chronic disease follow-up, and preventive care. For chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia, ask whether the clinic participates in the Chronic Disease Management Programme, which allows MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits for eligible outpatient visits. Integrated Shield Plan holders should check pre-authorisation requirements with their insurer before any planned investigation or referral. For self-paying patients, the standard GP consultation fee in the private sector runs S$25–60, with investigations such as blood panels and X-rays billed separately.

Contact Duxton Medical Clinic directly by phone or via the enquiry form to confirm current consultation hours, doctor availability, and whether your specific condition or chronic disease is managed on-site before your visit.

My aunt, uncle and mum have been seeing both Dr Tan for quite sometimes. I want to thanks to both Dr Tan and the clinic team for your patience, care, and understanding towards the elderlies. Sometimes though I’m not at the clinic, I can still speak with them over the phone to get updates on their condition.Truly appreciate your kindness and professionalism.

Both Dr Ho are very patient and caring towards my mother and can explain very well on my mother’s condition. Waiting time is reasonable as well. The counter staff are polite as well. Consultation price and medicine are affordable too.

I'm shocked by how cheap the prices are. They do not try to oversell you medicine compared to the clinics closer to my home.

Visited Duxton Medical as a foreigner walk in. Only waited about 30 mins. To be seen by Dr. Ho Hua Shen. Very professional, quickly diagnosed and was able to get my prescriptions right there in the office. But the best was their cooperation with the many revised medical reports to fully satisfy my insurance company who was being very particular in the wording. Would recommend Duxton Medical Clinic 10/10!!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Duxton Medical Clinic charge?

A standard GP consultation at a private clinic in Singapore typically costs S$25–60, with follow-up visits often at the lower end of that range. On top of the consultation fee, investigations are billed separately: a blood panel runs S$60–200, an X-ray S$80–150, and a urine test S$15–40. Prescriptions are also charged per item. GST applies on private medical services. For Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) conditions — including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions — MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits apply when the clinic is a CDMP-registered provider. Confirm this directly with Duxton Medical Clinic before assuming MediSave can be used. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is Duxton Medical Clinic MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. KakiList has not received licence details from Duxton Medical Clinic, so patients should verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the named consulting doctor's SMC entry before booking. For a GP practice, MOH clinic licensing and current SMC registration are the two mandatory checks. No regulatory licences have been provided to KakiList for this listing — confirm directly with the clinic.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Duxton Medical Clinic?

Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, but most GP visits at private clinics are outpatient and subject to your plan's outpatient benefit limits and deductible — check your policy documents or call your insurer before assuming coverage. MediSave can be withdrawn for outpatient chronic disease management under the CDMP (up to S$500–700/year depending on condition tier) when the clinic is registered. For any planned procedure or referral resulting from a GP visit, request a written financial counselling estimate that splits the insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before committing. Confirm whether Duxton Medical Clinic is a CDMP participant and whether your insurer has the clinic on its panel.
