We worked with J Ng from Dyel Design for our renovation and overall it was a good experience. Great Carpentry & Electrical Work as well. There were some delays along the way that weren’t due to J, but he handled things well and was very proactive in coordinating and chasing the different parties to keep the works moving. In the end, the renovation was still completed within the timeline he had initially shared, which we really appreciated. J was easy to communicate with, responsive to our messages, and patient when we had questions or needed clarifications. Whenever issues came up, he followed up responsibly and made sure they were properly addressed before handover.

J from Dyel design was recommended by a friend of ours after we went over to their place. J was very professional, always assuring us every step of the way and updating us on what are the steps that has been done. He was easy to work with, very proactive, and always advising us even on details like furniture pairings, cabinet compartments etc, which were things that we would never have thought about. My husband and I are both busy with work, which made us unable to monitor the renovation closely, but with J and his team around, we are both at ease! The renovation process was both enjoyable, stress free and very fun! It has been a year since we moved in, and we have no renovation regrets at all! Even up till now, whenever we have any issues related to the house (and might not even be in J's scope) he will still reply us, and advise us! We are truly happy that we have found J, and would highly recommend him to anyone!!!

What I appreciate most is that DYEL doesn’t just “do design for the sake of design”. They really think from the homeowner’s point of view — how the space will be used, what problems might happen later, what details we might overlook.
