Parents and students enquiring about test preparation programmes should begin by clarifying which examination or admissions goal is the focus — whether IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, university admissions counselling, or another track — and confirming that the curriculum approach aligns with the target institution or destination country. It is worth asking whether instruction is delivered in group classes or one-to-one sessions, what the typical class size is, and how closely the syllabus tracks the current exam format. Enquire whether a trial class or diagnostic assessment is available before committing to a term, and confirm the location and whether online delivery is an option if attending Carpenter Street in person is not always convenient.
To take the next step, contact EF Education First Singapore by phone or through the enquiry form to confirm current programme availability, class schedules, and fees for your specific examination target before enrolling.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Studying at EF Singapore was an unforgettable experience. During my nine months here, I met friends who have now become my irreplaceable companions, making this journey truly special. Every teacher I had was amazing—kind, encouraging, and passionate about teaching. Their support made learning English enjoyable and meaningful every day. Choosing Singapore as my study abroad destination and EF Singapore as my school was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I will always treasure the friendships and connections I made here and carry them with me as I move forward. Thank you to everyone at EF Singapore for giving me such a memorable experience.
I spent 2 weeks at EF Singapore and it was a wonderful! The school community was lovely and we had fun activities in class. Even though I was studying English, it was easy to make friends with the Mandarin students. Singapore is a safe, clean and diverse destination and our trip to Penang, Malaysia was memorable.
The classes are carefully divided by level, so you can study in a class that suits you. I was lucky to have great teachers and enjoyed learning a lot. The school also offers many activities, where you can make friends from different countries.

Hello, I'm Genesis, better known by my stage name, Bunny Gene. I want to say that EF Singapore is one of the best academic organizations. Their educational system is excellent. It's a shame I have to leave long before finishing my course because I don't have a visa. I've had many problems due to the poor management and organization of EF Mexico and EF Malta. They charged me for a six-month course without processing my visa first. Today I'm leaving Singapore very sad and disappointed because I don't speak English. I can only say a few words. I think if EF Mexico had managed things better and organized my course only in Singapore, I would be speaking English today. My stay in Singapore as a tourist is for one month. That means I'm leaving Singapore with the same level of English I arrived with: level A2. EF Mexico charged me almost $20,000 dollars plus $10,000 dollars for travel expenses. Today they tell me they're not responsible and won't refund my money. I'm asking for help as I plan to sue Ef México for fraud and damages, as EF México takes advantage of EFs from other countries to steal from students.

EF Education First Singapore has not published a specific per-session rate on its listing, so fees should be confirmed directly with the centre. Test preparation providers in Singapore typically structure pricing as a per-session rate, a monthly package, or a fixed term fee depending on the programme. Common variables include whether instruction is one-to-one or group-based, the duration of each session, and whether diagnostic materials or practice tests are included in the package. Ask about trial class fees, any materials or resource charges billed separately, and whether sibling or multi-course discounts apply. See the full Test Prep & Admissions cost guide for Singapore →
Many test preparation centres offer a trial class or diagnostic assessment before a student commits to a full term or package — it is worth asking EF Education First Singapore directly whether this is available and what the cost, if any, would be. A trial session allows you to gauge whether the teaching pace and style suit the learner, whether the class level is appropriately matched to the student's current proficiency, and whether the group dynamic or one-to-one format feels productive. Come prepared with a sense of the target exam, the intended sitting date, and any prior mock scores or diagnostic results. This gives the instructor enough context to place the student in the right track from the outset.
EF Education First is an internationally operating language and test preparation organisation with a long-standing presence across multiple countries, and its instructors are generally expected to hold relevant qualifications in English language teaching or the subject area they cover. However, specific tutor credentials for the Singapore centre — such as NIE or MOE teaching backgrounds, degree disciplines, years of experience, or alignment to particular exam syllabuses (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, university admissions) — are not listed in the available data. It is advisable to ask directly about the qualifications of the instructor assigned to your programme, their familiarity with the current exam format, and their track record with students sitting the same target examination.
