It holds a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 287 reviews — a robust sample that suggests consistent performance across a wide range of students and subjects. When enquiring, it helps to come prepared with your child's current level, the subject and syllabus (MOE, IB, IGCSE, or other), and the areas needing the most attention. Ask whether sessions are offered one-to-one or in small groups, as this affects both pacing and price. Clarify whether tuition is conducted in person at the Venture Drive premises or online, and whether the tutor can accommodate your preferred day and time slot. Most providers at this level offer a trial class so you can assess teaching style and subject-level fit before committing to a longer term.
To get started, reach out to Elite Tutor via phone or the enquiry form on their listing to check tutor availability for your child's level and subject, request a trial class, and confirm the fee structure and term commitment in writing before proceeding.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My daughter's Malay language has improved tremendously eversince we engaged Mr Fandy to tutor her. It has been more than a year now since we have him as her Bahasa tutor. Mr Fandy knows how best to manage the lessons. My daughter's results went from Band 4 to Band 2. We also engaged Mr Wong from Elite Tutor for my daughter's Math subject. He was able to work with my daughter's pace very well and knew which method would best support her. With his help, my daughter has been getting positive feedbacks from her teachers and getting full marks for her school work and reviews. So far Elite Tutors has given us 2 great tutors with excellent outcomes!
My daughter in Sec 3 have successfully completed her final exams and gotten her A grade results for English. Mainly the tutoring techniques and guidance given by Teacher Faith, highly commendable. Very dedicated and detail oriented tutoring has enhanced my daughter's English skills, learning abilities and eventually great achievement. I highly recommend... Special thanks and gratitude to Ms. Faith.
Very bad experience with this tutor agency. Tutor (Hazel Pei) was a no show on the day of tuition because she mentioned that she was held back by previous lesson for an hour. I wasn’t convinced by that as I believe tutors are hourly paid so why would the delay be so long? My son’s tuition was scheduled at 7.00 pm and being one hr late would drag his dinner time and also his bed time. Prior to this, Hazel Pei (tutor) sent me a text telling me she is unwell and was not able to make it and would offer a replacement class on the weekend without considering if it was convenient for us. The cherry on the top is that we won’t even supposed to have lesson on the day! Clearly time management is poor! We wanted to have the tuition on Wednesday but after confirming with us, she called to reschedule with us privately on a Thursday at 7.00 pm. I have been more than accommodating but the no show on the initial day of lesson really speaks a lot of the tutor. I have chosen another tuition agency to look for a suitable tutor. I have reported this to the agency but my feedback of a no show was not taken seriously. I hope my feedback can save parents out there of any wasted time. Disappointing!

Elite Tutor's pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier, but specific per-session or monthly package rates are not publicly listed — you will need to contact them directly for a quote. In the Singapore private tuition market, rates typically vary based on whether sessions are one-to-one or group, the tutor's qualifications and experience, and the subject level (primary, secondary, JC, or polytechnic). Beyond the base session rate, check whether there is a registration or administrative fee, whether materials or worksheets carry a separate charge, and whether sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. Some tutors charge a reduced rate for a trial class, while others offer the first session at full price. See the full private tutors cost guide for Singapore →
Many private tutors and tuition providers in Singapore offer a trial class, either at a reduced rate or at the standard per-session fee, before you sign up for a full term. This is a reasonable thing to request and worth confirming with Elite Tutor before booking. During the trial, pay attention to whether the pace matches your child's current level, how the tutor explains concepts your child finds difficult, and whether your child feels comfortable asking questions. A good subject fit and teaching style alignment matter more than credentials alone. Contact Elite Tutor via phone or the enquiry form to ask about their trial class policy and what to prepare for the first session.
Specific tutor credentials — such as NIE or MOE teaching background, degree subject, or years of teaching experience — are not listed in the publicly available information for Elite Tutor. You should ask directly when you make contact. Useful questions to raise include: whether the tutor has classroom teaching experience in Singapore schools, which syllabus they are most familiar with (MOE, IB, IGCSE, or AP), and how long they have been tutoring at your child's level. If the provider employs multiple tutors, ask which tutor would be assigned and whether a change can be requested if the fit is not right. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
If Elite Tutor isn't the right fit, these are other private tutors providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
