Our little girl has a phobia of clinics due to her last vaccination, and gets very fearful and cries loudly whenever we enter any clinics or places that has a resemblance to clinics. We thought that was the norm with every clinic and doctor that she goes to. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we brought her to see Dr Vincent to check on her persistent coughing. Dr Vincent was very caring family doctor and made her feel very comfortable. For the first time, there were no tears at all and that spoke volumes about his experience and professionalism in handling young kids. With his accurate diagnosis and prescriptions, she managed to recover very quickly as compared to her previous visits to other doctors.
Awesome clinic, front desk is very polite and helpful and speak great english (some clinics don't even have this). Doctor Mark was also well spoken and knowledgable. Unfortunately they did try to upsell "additional" medications as a lot of clinics do to make money but obliged when I turned them down.
Been here couple of times. Seen by both resident and lady doctor. Both I could say are professionals and knows what they are doing. They see patients thoroughly and advise accordingly. The staffs are nice. I could feel they are trying to be.... One thing maybe the clinic could review is the way it charges fee. Examination fee on top of consulation fee and another full consultation fee for just reading results. Maybe a little cut from the follow up fee would be nice like how others clinic I've been too charges. But overall ok. And will definitely consider going back if needed.
Dr. Vincent has been our family doctor for years, and we couldn’t be more grateful for his care. He is especially great with my boy, James. He is patient, gentle, and always able to put my boy at ease during consultations. His ability to diagnose accurately and explain treatments clearly makes every visit reassuring. The clinic is well-organized, and the staff is friendly, ensuring a smooth experience each time. Highly recommend Dr. Vincent to families looking for a skilled and compassionate doctor!
The doctor was nice and caring but absolutely terrible service by the reception. They hardly speak English and they never followed up with me about my test results. They were supposed to call me back in 3 days, and they never did. Made me wait two weeks before I had to call them and follow up. The doctor’s room completely lacks privacy. There is only a curtain between the doctors room and the reception and waiting area, so there is minimum privacy. The receptionists just open the curtain and communicate with the doctor, going in and out of the patient room while there is a patient in the room. This is very unprofessional. Edit 1 Re the response : Acoustic proof curtains ? I didn’t know they exist. I could clearly hear the reception staff and the people in the waiting room while in the patient room. Maybe it’s a “one way” acoustic proof curtain ? Having the staff call me on my personal mobile line at 10:30PM about my review is also considered very unprofessional. It is ironic, how come my contact details were not incorrect when you managed to get through to talk to me about my review but not about my test results ? Again, I do appreciate your follow up, and I have nothing against the professionalism of the medical staff or the doctors that I saw, you showed great knowledge and care. However my opinion about the rest of the service received by the Clinic remains the same. Very unprofessional, at least in comparison to Australian standards.

A standard GP consultation at a private clinic in Singapore typically runs S$25–60, with the final figure depending on the presenting condition, medications dispensed, and any investigations ordered. Common add-ons include a blood panel (S$60–200), urine test, or a throat or wound swab. Prescriptions are usually dispensed at the same visit and billed separately from the consultation fee. GST applies on private medical services. CHAS cardholders (Blue, Orange, or Green tier) may be eligible for subsidised fees if Elyon Clinic Telok Blangah participates in the CHAS scheme — confirm directly before your visit. For planned investigations or referral letters, ask for a cost estimate upfront. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
Regulatory licence details are not currently listed in Elyon Clinic Telok Blangah's KakiList profile. Every legitimate clinic in Singapore is required to hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — you can verify this on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also be registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC); search by the consulting doctor's name at smc.gov.sg to confirm registration status and that no disciplinary action is outstanding. It is advisable to confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC registration before booking, particularly for new patients. Neither confirmation alone is sufficient — both are required for a legitimate GP practice.
For most GP visits, MediSave is not directly claimable for acute outpatient consultations — it applies primarily via the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows up to S$700/year in MediSave withdrawals for listed chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, and selected mental health conditions, at CHAS-enrolled GP clinics. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) generally cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than routine outpatient GP visits, though some IP riders provide outpatient benefits — check your policy terms before expecting reimbursement. For any planned referral to a specialist or day procedure arising from a GP consultation, request a written referral letter and, where applicable, pre-authorisation from your insurer before proceeding, to avoid unexpected out-of-pocket costs.
