I recommend Dr. Woon at Epi Smile. I came today for cleaning , polishing and filling, and I felt the cleaning was very thorough. Also the doctor explain the steps properly and I feel my teeth is well treated after. Definitely will recommend to my friends. The doctor also did a x-ray for me and follow up with my condition.
I used to be very afraid of visiting the dentist and I usually avoid visiting one. However, I was forced to visit as my Mum booked a cleaning and consultation session for me. I was attended to by Dr Woon, who was very patient in explaining to me the steps to proper oral hygiene. She gave me a very thorough scaling and polishing and was very gentle throughout the procedure. Ever since then, I got over the fear of dentists and I always visit her once every 6 months for routine cleaning and checks. I highly recommend Dr Woon for her patience and tenderness. The receptionists are also very friendly and fun!
Today 13 August 2025 is my third time going down to visit my dentist , Dr Anwar at Epismile, Thomson Plaza, Upper Thomson Road. I had another crown tooth done and the dentist is super wonderful and handles us patients well making sure we are always comfortable and in knowing every stage that is in progress. Just wishing to show my appreciation to a wonderful dentist here. Thank you very much !!! 🙏🏻😄👍👍👍👍👍👍
Have been coming to see Dr Nadia for the past few years. She is patient, professional and clear with her explanations. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 My elderly mother also got her tooth extracted and wasn’t afraid of the procedure. Receptionist is friendly and bookings are smooth.
I had Dr Woon, who gave me a VERY basic consultation, missed the actual cause of my pain resulting in a week of pain before I finally got it properly fixed elsewhere. A good example of why people are afraid to go to the dentist

Specific fees were not published for this listing, but Singapore dental clinics typically charge S$50–100 for a consultation, S$80–150 for a routine scaling and polishing, S$150–400 for a filling depending on material, S$800–2,000+ for a crown, and S$3,000–6,000+ for orthodontic treatment. GST applies to dental consultations and procedures. It is worth confirming the full fee schedule — including any diagnostic charges for X-rays — before your appointment, as costs can vary considerably by procedure and by whether you are visiting a general dentist or a specialist. Some corporate insurance plans and Medisave cover certain dental procedures (Medisave can be used for approved surgical extractions and selected treatments). Confirm with the clinic whether your insurer is accepted and which procedures qualify. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →
Most dental clinics, including general practices, accept direct bookings without a GP referral. Your first visit will typically involve a clinical examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and diagnostic X-rays if indicated. It is useful to bring a list of any medications you are taking and to flag allergies — particularly to local anaesthetics or latex — on the intake form. A referral becomes relevant if the clinic determines that specialist care is needed, for example from a periodontist, orthodontist, oral surgeon, or prosthodontist. If you have a complex or ongoing dental condition, ask at the time of booking whether the clinic handles it in-house or refers out, to avoid a wasted journey.
In Singapore, all practising dentists must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), which operates under the Ministry of Health. You can verify any dentist's registration on the SDC public register at moh.gov.sg. Specialist dentists — such as orthodontists, periodontists, or oral surgeons — hold additional specialist registration and will have completed an accredited postgraduate programme. The clinic premises must also hold a valid MOH clinic licence. No regulatory licences were listed for this provider on KakiList. Before your appointment, it is advisable to confirm the consulting dentist's name and SDC registration number, as well as the clinic's MOH licence status, either by asking the clinic directly or by checking the MOH licensee directory.
