About Evercare Medical Clinic Choa Chu Kang
Evercare Medical Clinic Choa Chu Kang is a general practice clinic located at 475 Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3, serving residents in the Choa Chu Kang and surrounding west-side areas. The clinic holds a 3.3/5 rating across 44 Google reviews — a moderate sample size, though the below-average score warrants attention and prospective patients are encouraged to read the reviews in detail before attending. No regulatory licences have been confirmed in the listing data, and ACRA registration has not been verified, so independent checks are advisable before booking.
For a first visit, patients typically walk in or call ahead to confirm waiting times and operating hours. A GP consultation covers acute illness, minor injuries, repeat prescriptions, referral letters for specialist care, and basic health screening. Where a polyclinic or GP referral letter is issued, it can open the pathway to subsidised specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) appointments at public hospitals at S$30–80 for Singapore Citizens, compared with S$120–250 for a direct private specialist consultation. Patients using MediSave or an Integrated Shield Plan should confirm coverage with the clinic before the visit, as MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits apply and CDMP registration is required for chronic disease claims.
Contact the clinic by phone to confirm current operating hours, waiting times, and whether your condition can be managed at GP level or requires onward referral. Listing data is incomplete — contact Evercare Medical Clinic Choa Chu Kang directly to confirm details.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
On Sunday morning the clinic opens at 8.30am. I came early about 9.30am to register and they mentioned the waiting time is 1-2hrs. As i can see there are many people. Now it's already past 11.30am where I'm still waiting for my queue. Other people just walk in, they get served first. Which i find it's a bit unfair, even though some may book online. I was having a fever yet, no priority was given. Eventually, it's like I'm the last person to be served. Since the clinic is closing at 12pm.
Worst worst worst worst. Do not waste your time waiting in this clinic. Really annoying to find that even after waiting for 2hrs you name is still not called out. Worst time management. No consideration that people who visit are sick and have to attended correctly. If there was a negative rating i would give -5 stars. I stay nearby this clinic and have experienced this many times. I am not reviewing just after a single visit. Do not visit this clinic and waste your time.
Probably the worst clinic i have ever been too.. 1. Doctor came back late from lunch, like 30mins late... came down 10minutes before it opens after lunch and only saw the doctor like 45mins later. 2. Doctor thermometer not able to detect fever? for some reason my fever was 36.6 3. Doctor refused to prescribe me the medicine i needed??
Don't understand why there is a bad review of the front officer they will always let us know how many people are in front of us and advise coming back in an 1 hour or 2 and they will call you once the queue number is near, and the doctor is very pleasant and a good listener
Evercare medical clinic at CCK sunshine place #02-02 , one of the counter staff was rude. Here with helper who need to consult doctor. Helper has check in & since she do not know how to do the declaration, I do on her behalf. Thereafter I was trying to install the QR quote app for helper & trying out , the counter staff said I do not need to do again. But i told her I am teaching my helper how to do a declaration. She claim if my helper do not know she can help no need me to help. I told her twice is only right I teach her to do so as she needs to accompany my mother in law on future to clinic too. I don't know why she is so unhappy about me teaching my helper. It does not make sense.

GP consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with follow-up visits and prescriptions billed separately. Common add-ons include blood panel investigations (S$60–200), urine tests, X-rays (S$80–150), and prescribed medications. GST applies on private medical services. For planned procedures or specialist referrals, any significant workup should come with a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions. No regulatory licences have been confirmed in the current listing data for Evercare Medical Clinic Choa Chu Kang. Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must also be listed on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, specialist accreditation, and any disciplinary history. Patients are strongly advised to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration before attending. Neither the clinic's ACRA registration nor its MOH licence has been independently confirmed in this listing, so direct verification with the relevant authorities is essential before booking.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays subject to deductible, co-insurance, and rider rules. For outpatient GP visits, MediSave withdrawal is available under the MediSave 500/700 limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient use, rising to S$700 per year if the patient is enrolled in the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, or stroke. Confirm with the clinic whether it is a CDMP-accredited provider, as CDMP enrolment must be done at the clinic level. For any planned investigation or referral, request an itemised cost breakdown in advance. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
