Patients typically begin by reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to describe their concern — whether a routine check-up and scale-and-polish, a specific complaint such as toothache or sensitivity, or an interest in cosmetic work such as whitening or alignment. The clinic can then advise on the appropriate appointment type, expected duration, and whether any imaging or prior records would be helpful to bring along. Recurring care such as six-monthly reviews is worth scheduling in advance, and patients are encouraged to ask about cancellation policy at the time of booking.

I had my wisdom tooth extraction done today by Dr Matt, assisted by Kuga, and the experience was honestly seamless. The procedure was quick, painless, and very professionally handled, I didn’t feel a thing at all. They made me feel calm, well taken care of, and reassured throughout the entire process. Truly excellent care and teamwork. Thank you both for such a smooth experience!
I had an amazing experience at Expat Dental Clinic Novena with my 5yo son! He was previously traumatized at another clinic and had been resistant to dental care, but Dr. Matt's patience and expertise put him at ease, allowing for a successful assessment and emergency extraction. Adelle, the dental hygienist, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain each step and provide valuable tips on oral care. She made the teeth cleaning process painless and stress-free for both my son and me. The friendly receptionists welcomed us warmly, and the entire staff, including Dr. Matt, were caring and attentive, ensuring our comfort throughout the visit. We're grateful for their excellent care and look forward to returning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Did my cleaning with OHT Adel and it was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had in my dental journey. I actually feel less fearful about visiting dental clinics now. Adel also spotted a few other issues and patiently explained the next steps to me. I’ll definitely be coming back to her! :')
I had such a great experience with Rubaab Masoom at Expat Dental Clinic! She’s incredibly gentle, thorough, and always makes sure I’m comfortable throughout the cleaning. She advised me to get local anesthetic for my clean up, and I had no pain or discomfort at all! You can really tell she cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. I completely trust anything she recommends — she’s knowledgeable, honest, and always has my best interest in mind. My teeth have never felt cleaner — highly recommend seeing her if you want someone who’s both professional and kind! I can honestly say she’s the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had.
Dr Clara Gibson have been giving an astonishing service for my invisalign check up and so far I wear my invisalign marvelously and it is very durable, especially the glue sticks very well. The service and the quickness of time makes us want to come back again whenever I have dental appointment needed

Dental fees in Singapore vary considerably by treatment type. A routine consultation and examination typically runs S$30–80, with a scale-and-polish adding S$60–120. Fillings range from S$80–250 depending on material and cavity size; a single-tooth extraction S$80–350; root canal treatment S$800–1,500 per tooth; and dental implants S$3,500–6,000 per implant including the crown. Cosmetic procedures such as porcelain veneers or composite bonding vary further. Expat Dental (Novena) is listed at the mid-tier price band ($$), so fees are likely above budget-chain pricing but below specialist hospital rates. GST applies to dental consultations and procedures. Confirm the exact fee for your specific treatment before proceeding. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →
A GP referral is not required to book a dental appointment at Expat Dental (Novena) — you can contact the clinic directly. However, bringing any recent dental X-rays or records from a previous dentist is helpful if you are changing providers, as it saves repeat imaging and gives the dentist a baseline for comparison. For more complex concerns — temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain, orthodontic assessment, implant planning, or oral surgery — the dentist may recommend additional diagnostic imaging or refer you to a specialist. If you intend to make an insurance or Medisave claim, check with your insurer or CPF Board in advance, as claimable procedures and caps differ by policy and scheme.
Dentists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. You can verify any dentist's name and registration status on the SDC's public register at sdc.gov.sg before your appointment. The clinic premises must also hold a valid licence issued by MOH under the Healthcare Services Act. Expat Dental (Novena) does not currently have licences listed on its KakiList profile. Patients are advised to confirm the name of the treating dentist and verify their SDC registration number directly with the clinic before proceeding with treatment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
