This review is for a super team who managed to create my new home. If you are looking for top-quality finishes and headache-free renovation where basics are never a worry, I highly recommend Davier and his colleagues – Jay (Javier) and Jaylen. I first met Davier at a Renopedia event in Dec 2024. My 4-room resale flat could only begin renovation in June 2025. At our first meeting, I only gave him a rough idea of what I wanted. By our second meeting, he surprised me with a 3D rendering that captured exactly what I was looking for. That was when I realized he has the experience to foresee needs and translate vague ideas into practical, beautiful solutions. Among the four other IDs I spoke with, no one came close. I chose Davier because of his patience, fast response time, eagerness to help, and professionalism. Even while on holiday in Switzerland, he continued communicating and involved his young colleague Jaylen to keep the design moving. With six months of waiting time, and being someone who tends to overthink and change my mind, I met Davier and Jaylen many times. They revised the design countless times as I added or adjusted ideas, yet they never made me feel like a burden. When we finally took over the unit, the timeline for my move-in was very tight. Davier pre-planned carefully to make sure the place would be minimally ready for me to stay. Days before hacking began, he personally visited the house for a detailed inspection. I remember watching him go into deep thought and even murmuring, “there is nothing I cannot resolve,” when facing challenges. That gave me full confidence my home was in good hands. Davier takes pride in his delivery – from discreet electrical wiring to seamless carpentry joints and perfectly aligned tiles. He is fussy about finishing details, and though small, they add up to a home that feels polished, refined, and timeless. On top of that, they work with very experienced contractors, which explains the top-notch workmanship and fine finishing I now enjoy at home. Upon completion, compliments poured in. Friends, relatives, neighbours, even movers were impressed and asked to look around. Some friends I had not contacted for years even reached out to visit after seeing photos. Feedback was consistent: “very well designed,” “functional and practical,” “lasting quality,” “great workmanship,” and my favourite – “it looks even better than a condo.” Through this journey, I learned renovation is not just the ID’s work. As an owner, you become part of the team, working hand in hand to resolve challenges and make the best decisions. That’s why finding an ID who matches your style, expectations, and way of working is important. I was fortunate to meet Davier and his colleagues. They matched my needs and guided me with patience, expertise, and genuine care. We engaged YC about a year ago and honestly, he has been nothing short of amazing. From the start, he stood out among the many IDs we met — humble, down-to-earth, super responsive, and always mindful of our budget while still giving us so many creative ideas to design our beautiful home. He really made our dream come true! Throughout the whole reno journey, YC was always there to resolve issues quickly and followed up with the contractors until everything was properly fixed. We know we weren’t the easiest customers (lots of changes along the way 😅), but YC was always so patient and accommodating.
