New patients typically begin by contacting the clinic via phone or the online enquiry form to book a first consultation. At that appointment, the dentist will assess your current dental health, discuss any presenting concerns, and outline a treatment plan with associated costs before proceeding. It is worth confirming in advance what the consultation fee covers, whether X-rays are included or billed separately, and the clinic's cancellation policy. Patients with Medisave, CHAS, or company dental benefits should ask whether the clinic participates in those schemes before the visit.
To make an appointment, call the clinic directly or submit an enquiry through the contact form on their listing — the team will advise on available slots and what to bring to the first visit.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Dr Sheryl is an exceptional dentist who is not only skilful, but also very patient, knowledgeable and kind. She did her best to assuage my fears (knowing I am terrified of dentists, haha) and was very gentle throughout the entire treatment process. The staff at the clinic are really friendly and accommodating as well. I will definitely be back and recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a comfortable dental experience 😊
I was recommended by a friend to Dr Bryan Han who did a wonderful job on his tooth implant 5 years ago. I made an appointment thinking it was just a consultation as I've read it will be a long process to have a tooth implant. To my surprise, after the x ray, I was cleared to extract my decaying tooth and did a tooth implant within 10 minutes. Dr Han is very experienced and made the process very fast and pain free. Very thankful to have this procedure done so quickly and even managed to use medisave to cover majority of the cost. I highly recommend Dr Han.
Getting two Diff implants sounded scary at first, but thanks to Dr. Han and his amazing team at FDC Dental Clinic, the whole experience turned out to be completely painless and fear-free. They were so gentle and caring that I felt safe and relaxed the entire time. I am deeply grateful for their professionalism and kindness. Highly recommended for anyone who wants dental care they can truly trust!
Brought my mum in law for tooth extraction. Dr Quek & his assistant Noor had been very caring and patience in explaining the procedures and also comfort my mum in law. In addition, I had Dr Sheryl & her assistant Kah Tong for treating my sensitive gem. They have been gentle and meticulous. Their service have calm us and reduce our pain during scaling and polishing. Excellent service & support from FDC Demtalworkz. The fee is deemed reasonable. Thank you.
Dr Ng Hin Yeung was friendly, caring and professional in performing scaling and polishing for me! Highly recommended 👍

Dental fees in Singapore vary by procedure rather than a flat per-session rate. A routine consultation typically runs S$30–80 at a private dental clinic, with scaling and polishing adding S$80–200, fillings S$80–250 depending on material, and extractions S$100–350. More involved work such as root canal treatment runs S$800–2,000+ per tooth, and crowns S$1,000–2,500+. GST applies to private dental services. Confirm the consultation fee and any mandatory X-ray charge upfront. If you hold a CHAS card (blue, orange, or green), are a Pioneer or Merdeka Generation cardholder, or have Medisave-eligible dental coverage, ask whether Family Dental Centre accepts those schemes before your appointment, as participation varies by clinic. No referral is needed to book a first visit at a private dental clinic. You can contact Family Dental Centre directly by phone or via the enquiry form to schedule an appointment. At the first visit, the dentist will typically conduct a clinical examination and may take diagnostic X-rays before discussing any treatment recommendations. If you have a complex condition — such as significant gum disease, a suspected oral lesion, or a need for specialist orthodontic or oral surgery input — the clinic may refer you to a specialist or a polyclinic dental service where subsidised rates may apply. It is helpful to bring a list of any current medications, particularly blood thinners or bisphosphonates, and to mention any latex or anaesthetic sensitivities at the start of the consultation.
Dental clinics and practising dentists in Singapore are regulated by the Singapore Dental Council (SDC) under the Dental Registration Act. Individual dentists must hold a valid SDC registration, which is publicly verifiable on the SDC online register at sdc.gov.sg. Dental clinics are also required to comply with MOH licensing requirements for medical and dental premises. Family Dental Centre carries KakiList verification confirming operating details, and holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating across 213 Google reviews — a robust sample. No ACRA business registration has been confirmed in the listing data, so it is advisable to verify the business and the attending dentist's SDC registration number before proceeding with treatment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the SDC public register before your first appointment.
