I'm thrilled to share my family's exceptional experience with Karate Coach BK. My teenagers have been training with him since they were young, initially at Tanjong Pagar and later at the Fight Academy. Throughout the years, Coach BK has consistently delivered high-quality instruction, adapting his teaching style to meet the diverse needs of his students. What impresses me most is Coach BK's ability to cater to students of varying ages, skill levels, and belt ranks within a single class. After warm-ups, he seamlessly differentiates his instruction to ensure each student receives targeted guidance. As a parent observing from the sidelines, I appreciate how Coach BK not only teaches the "how" but also explains the "what" and "why" behind each technique. Coach BK's attention to detail and commitment to excellence are evident in his meticulous corrections and encouragement of precise technique execution. His passion for karate is contagious, and his dedication to his students' growth is genuinely inspiring. We look forward to continuing our training with Coach BK, who has become an integral part of our family's martial arts journey. If you're seeking a knowledgeable, supportive, and demanding instructor who will help you achieve your karate goals, Coach BK is an outstanding choice.
I recently joined the Kickboxing class at Fight Academy, led by Sensei Coach BK, who is highly skilled in both karate and kickboxing. The class consistently offers a well-structured, motivating, and friendly environment that has made the past 14 weeks fly by. It’s been an amazing experience, and I’m eager to continue. Not only has it been a fantastic way to improve my cardio, but I’ve also gained valuable self-defense skills. Coach BK’s patience and dedication truly stand out. He takes the time to remember each student’s individual progress and helps us refine our techniques, which we deeply appreciate. Osu!
So lucky to have found this gem! Expert, professional and kind instructors who actually care. The regular students who are more experienced are also really welcoming and understanding towards novice learners. Great vibe. Would recommend to any beginner who wants to start learning martial arts or self defence. It’s also very easy to book classes and view the schedules via the app. The pricing is transparent and extremely fair. I can recommend the Kick boxing, Krav Maga and Brazilian jiu jitsu, as those are the ones I’ve tried.
I’ve been training at Fight Academy for a while now, and I absolutely love it! 🥋 The coaches are super supportive, the environment is friendly and motivating, and I always leave feeling stronger and more confident. Highly recommend to anyone looking to start or level up their martial arts journey! 💪💙
I joined Coach Aaron's Wrestling class with my son. It is very hard to find Freestyle Wrestling classes in Singapore, let alone one of this quality. Coming from a BJJ background, I really appreciated becoming a beginner again, in a whole new grappling discipline. My young son (who is not very active) thoroughly enjoys his lessons and looks forward to them. I have seen him develop a lot more agility, strengths, and his attitude and confidence has improved. Coach Aaron creates an environment that allows students of all levels and ages to safely train, learn, and ask questions. He is an experienced martial artist across multiple disciplines and is able to explain techniques with clarity and in a friendly, non-intimidating way. We learnt all the basics, from wrestling specific warm ups, drills, to techniques, and then partner work with a resistant opponent. But it is all done in a very safe way. The venue is also conveniently located with available parallel parking at the side of the building, and the training facilities are new, well maintained, and clean. The membership package is flexible, transparent, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended if you're looking to explore wrestling with an experienced coach.

Fight Academy Singapore displays a mid-range ($$) price indicator, but specific per-session rates, monthly packages, or term fees are not publicly listed. In Singapore, sports enrichment classes of this type typically range from S$30–80 per session for group classes, with one-to-one coaching at a higher rate. Trial class fees may differ from regular session pricing. It is worth asking about any materials or equipment fees, sibling discounts, and whether multi-class packages offer a better rate than paying per session. Confirm the full cost before committing to a term. See the full Sport & Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many sports enrichment academies in Singapore offer a trial class so prospective students can experience the teaching style, class pace, and group dynamic before signing up for a full term. It is worth asking Fight Academy Singapore directly whether a trial session is available and whether it is charged at the regular rate or a reduced trial fee. During the trial, look out for how the coach engages with students at different ability levels, whether the session feels appropriately challenging, and how the class is structured between technique, drills, and free practice. This is the most reliable way to assess fit before any financial commitment.
Specific coach credentials, certifications, and years of teaching experience are not listed publicly for Fight Academy Singapore. For a sports academy, relevant credentials might include national or regional competition experience, certified coaching qualifications from the relevant national sports association, and a track record of coaching students across different age groups and levels. It is advisable to ask Fight Academy Singapore directly about the qualifications and experience of the coach who will be teaching your class, particularly if you are enrolling a child or have a specific competitive or developmental goal in mind. Syllabus alignment with any school or national programme requirements is also worth confirming.
