My personal advice = Dishonest business practice, better to avoid. I engaged FixinGuru around 2 years ago to replace my entire unit ceiling lights. While the cost they charged me is reasonable, they took unfair profit through other means, in my case it was through making me purchase inferior quality lights. They did so by informing me last minute that the brand that I wanted is not available, and the only brand available is some cheap local brand and assured me that a lot of their clients use it. Lo and behold, within 2 years, a lot of the lights died already. 1 or 2 die is still within margin of error, but 5++ to die, that's a systematic fraud going on. I have given them opportunity to explain themselves and they ignored me. So my personal advice to whoever is looking to engage this business is: Please avoid! There are a lot of dishonest handyman companies in Singapore, this is one of them! I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

I am very unhappy with the service I got. I had approached this company to fix my glass coffee table leg. Though the company did send a handyman to my place early, the job done was unprofessional. The glue used was very visible and ugly. I have attached two photos in this post, one showing how it previously was. If the outcome was going to be like that I should have at least been cautioned. I didn’t think it will look like this. Company also hasn’t replied to my messages asking if the job will be re done. Disappointed with the service.

The pricing is not fixed and seems to vary depending on the boss’s discretion. The first time I engaged their services, I was quoted $180 for a table and chair set with an additional bench. All was good and hence I engage their services again. However the second engagement, I was quoted $130 to fix the table set, but the final charge became $150 because of the chairs. The boss said the price could only be lowered if I repaired more items. Will I engage them for a third time? Definitely not. After reading the negative reviews, I realised I am not the only one who has experienced this.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience with Mr. Rafi and his handyman, Mr. Sajjad! I contacted Mr. Rafi regarding a long-standing issue with my clinic's glass door stopper and some drilling work, and to my surprise, Mr. Sajjad arrived within 30 minutes! This is by far the fastest service I’ve ever received.. Their workmanship is impeccable, all the tasks were completed efficiently and to a high standard. On top of that, their pricing is very reasonable, making the whole experience even better. I highly recommend Mr. Rafi and his team for anyone in need of reliable and professional handyman services and other many services too. Truly outstanding service! 🌟

Unfortunately I did not have a pleasant experience with fixinguru. The person who attended to me was responsive and accommodated to my request to change dates for installation works initially, but once the installation works were completed and paid, there was no more reply to my messages despite trying to feedback to him on the unsatisfactory areas. In summary, these were my observations: 1) Damaged to wall paints after installation of mirror. No follow up actions nor intentions to repair. 2) Did not help to clean up floor area after drilling works. 3) Unfriendly staff 4) Poor after-service support. Do not expect them to reply your messages after works are completed.
