Brought my baby(1.5years) to this clinic. Doctor was very experienced and medication prescribed works well. Short waiting time for consultation and medication.
I would like to thank Dr Koh Thuan Wee for his patience and detailed explanation during my consultations. His care, and concern is very much appreciated. The front desk staff are very helpful and cheerful.
Dr grace ong and the front desk personnel was very good... cos previously i was at another clinic but always cannot get my blood sample... dr grace is so proffesional
Frontier used to be my go-to clinic for my children. However, recent experiences have led me to seek care elsewhere. Ever since Dr. Grace left, the quality of care has declined significantly. I won't name specific doctors, but there are several concerning issues. First, there is a lack of professionalism; the clinic is open at 6 PM, but the doctor only arrived at 6:45 PM. I had return to the clinic to see the doctor from my previous visit (with a different doctor) for my child. This time, the doctor prescribed an adult dosage for my child for the same medicine from first visit, even after I reconfirmed if it was correct. The doctor didn't even check the prescription history. The two visits were only with in the same week, yet I ended up with two sets of medication with different dosages—one meant for an adult and one for a child. Even the nurse at the counter confirmed that the dosage I was inquiring about was meant for a child. This left me puzzled; why was my child given adult dosage medication? The medicine did not improve my child's condition. Moreover, no blood test was suggested, which was concerning. Dr. Grace would have recommended a blood test by now to check for any bacterial infection. This has been a very disappointing and sad experience, as my child could have ended up in the hospital. Luckily, I decided to visit another clinic for a second opinion. A new set of medications was prescribed for my child, and a blood test was conducted. My child is now on the road to recovery. Update: The response to my review further emphasizes the unprofessionalism I experienced with this doctor. None of the issues mentioned in the reply were brought up during my consultation, which makes me question the thoroughness and transparency of the care provided. Additionally, it’s quite concerning that you were able to respond to my review without even knowing who the patient was. This lack of attention to detail only reinforces my doubts about the reliability and credibility of your responses. It’s disappointing to see that instead of addressing my specific concerns, the reply seems more focused on defending the practice without understanding the actual situation. This experience has left me questioning the overall quality of service and the level of patient care being provided. Farewell Frontier Canberra!
My family members have been going to your clinic and we are very happy to be attended by both the staffs and doctors. However, I would like to request for some seats to be placed outside as there are many old folks visiting your clinic. This would help greatly their their wait especially for the older folks. Much appreciated.

GP consultations at private and CHAS-accredited GP clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit for self-paying patients, with follow-up visits generally at the lower end. Investigations billed on top of the consultation include blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, and referral letters. Prescriptions are billed separately based on medication type and quantity. Patients holding a CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) card — blue, orange, or green tier — receive subsidised consultation and medication fees at participating GP clinics. Pioneer Generation and Merdeka Generation cardholders receive additional subsidies. Confirm whether Frontier Healthcare Canberra participates in CHAS before your visit, as this materially affects out-of-pocket cost. GST applies on private medical services. For planned investigations or procedures, request an itemised estimate that clearly separates the consultation fee, investigation costs, and any applicable MediSave deductions. Every legitimate GP clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — this is verifiable on the MOH licensee directory by searching the clinic name or address. Every practising doctor must also be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm the doctor's registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. Frontier Healthcare Canberra has not supplied its regulatory licence details to KakiList at this time. Before your appointment, it is advisable to search the clinic's name on the MOH licensee directory and the consulting doctor's name on the SMC register to confirm both are current. Neither confirmation alone is sufficient — both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC registration should be in order. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment at GP clinics under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. The annual withdrawal limit is S$500 under the general MediSave outpatient scheme and S$700 under CDMP. Confirm with the clinic whether it is CDMP-accredited before your visit. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient and day-surgery episodes rather than routine GP consultations, though some riders include outpatient benefits — check your specific plan terms with your insurer. For any referral to a specialist or day surgery arising from a GP consultation, pre-authorise with your insurer and request a Letter of Guarantee before the procedure to avoid claim disputes. For subsidised access to specialists via the public hospital route, a referral letter from this clinic can route you to a polyclinic or public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic (SOC), where Singapore Citizens pay S$30–80 per subsidised visit, albeit with 4–12 week non-urgent waiting times.
