Patients typically contact the clinic by WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check waiting times or confirm consultation hours before visiting. As a GP clinic, the consultation covers acute illnesses, chronic disease management under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders, routine prescriptions, and referrals to specialist outpatient clinics where further investigation is needed. MediSave can be used for outpatient CDMP visits within the S$500–700 annual withdrawal limits, and the clinic is likely to participate in the Screen for Life programme for subsidised health screening baselines — confirm directly. For planned specialist care, a GP referral letter to a public hospital SOC reduces waiting costs significantly compared with a direct private specialist walk-in.

Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Brought my baby(1.5years) to this clinic. Doctor was very experienced and medication prescribed works well. Short waiting time for consultation and medication.
I would like to thank Dr Koh Thuan Wee for his patience and detailed explanation during my consultations. His care, and concern is very much appreciated. The front desk staff are very helpful and cheerful.
Dr grace ong and the front desk personnel was very good... cos previously i was at another clinic but always cannot get my blood sample... dr grace is so proffesional
Frontier used to be my go-to clinic for my children. However, recent experiences have led me to seek care elsewhere. Ever since Dr. Grace left, the quality of care has declined significantly. I won't name specific doctors, but there are several concerning issues. First, there is a lack of professionalism; the clinic is open at 6 PM, but the doctor only arrived at 6:45 PM. I had return to the clinic to see the doctor from my previous visit (with a different doctor) for my child. This time, the doctor prescribed an adult dosage for my child for the same medicine from first visit, even after I reconfirmed if it was correct. The doctor didn't even check the prescription history. The two visits were only with in the same week, yet I ended up with two sets of medication with different dosages—one meant for an adult and one for a child. Even the nurse at the counter confirmed that the dosage I was inquiring about was meant for a child. This left me puzzled; why was my child given adult dosage medication? The medicine did not improve my child's condition. Moreover, no blood test was suggested, which was concerning. Dr. Grace would have recommended a blood test by now to check for any bacterial infection. This has been a very disappointing and sad experience, as my child could have ended up in the hospital. Luckily, I decided to visit another clinic for a second opinion. A new set of medications was prescribed for my child, and a blood test was conducted. My child is now on the road to recovery. Update: The response to my review further emphasizes the unprofessionalism I experienced with this doctor. None of the issues mentioned in the reply were brought up during my consultation, which makes me question the thoroughness and transparency of the care provided. Additionally, it’s quite concerning that you were able to respond to my review without even knowing who the patient was. This lack of attention to detail only reinforces my doubts about the reliability and credibility of your responses. It’s disappointing to see that instead of addressing my specific concerns, the reply seems more focused on defending the practice without understanding the actual situation. This experience has left me questioning the overall quality of service and the level of patient care being provided. Farewell Frontier Canberra!
My family members have been going to your clinic and we are very happy to be attended by both the staffs and doctors. However, I would like to request for some seats to be placed outside as there are many old folks visiting your clinic. This would help greatly their their wait especially for the older folks. Much appreciated.

GP consultation fees at private GP clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with additional charges for investigations such as blood panels (S$60–200), urine tests, throat or wound swabs, and X-rays (S$80–150). Prescribed medications are billed on top of the consultation fee. GST applies on private medical services. For CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) cardholders, subsidised rates apply at participating GP clinics — blue card holders and orange card holders receive different subsidy tiers. Confirm with Frontier Healthcare Sembawang Canberra directly whether they participate in CHAS and the applicable subsidy amounts. MediSave can be used for CDMP-eligible chronic condition consultations within the annual S$500–700 withdrawal limit. For any planned procedure or specialist referral, request a written financial estimate that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions. Every legitimate clinic in Singapore holds an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — this is verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. No licence details are recorded in the current listing for Frontier Healthcare Sembawang Canberra, so patients should confirm the clinic's MOH licence directly before booking. Every practising doctor must be registered on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. It is worth asking at reception for the consulting doctor's full name so you can verify their SMC entry. For a GP clinic, basic SMC registration is the primary credential; specialist fellowships (FRCS, FAMS) are relevant only if specialist-level care is being provided. Confirm both the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC registration before booking — neither alone is sufficient as a complete check.
MediSave can be used for outpatient consultations at GP clinics under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which covers listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, up to S$500 per year (or S$700 for patients aged 60 and above). For acute GP visits not under CDMP, MediSave generally cannot be used for outpatient claims. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life typically cover inpatient stays and day surgery at private and restructured hospitals, but do not usually cover standard GP outpatient consultations. CHAS subsidies, if applicable, are applied at the point of billing. Confirm with the clinic whether they are a CHAS-participating clinic and whether your IP or employer insurance provides any GP outpatient reimbursement. For any planned procedure or specialist referral arising from a GP visit, request a written financial counselling estimate from the receiving institution that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
