About Frontier Healthcare Ubi
Frontier Healthcare Ubi is a general practice clinic located at Blk 304 Ubi Ave 1 in the Ubi neighbourhood, serving patients across Singapore. The clinic has a 4.2/5 rating across 72 Google reviews, a moderate sample that suggests consistent patient experience. No regulatory licences are listed on this directory profile, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed, so patients are advised to verify credentials directly with the clinic before attending.
For a first visit, patients can contact the clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to confirm consultation hours, queue availability, and whether the presenting condition is within the clinic's scope. As a GP setting, Frontier Healthcare Ubi is suited to acute illness, minor injuries, chronic disease follow-up under the Chronic Disease Management Programme, and referrals to specialist care when required. Patients with Integrated Shield Plans or MediSave queries should clarify claimability at the clinic counter before treatment, as outpatient GP consultations are subject to MediSave 500 withdrawal limits and CDMP-specific rules for listed chronic conditions.
To attend, contact the clinic in advance to check operating hours and same-day queue availability, and bring your NRIC, any existing referral letters, and your insurance card if claiming under an Integrated Shield Plan.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Dr. Ng provided a thorough and detailed consultation during my clinic visit. He put me at ease and offered valuable health advice. The clinical team was warm, friendly, and especially accommodating in arranging an appointment at short notice. My entire experience was smooth and reassuring. Thank you, Dr. Ng and the lovely team at Frontier Medical!
Doctors here don't even check on you properly, thinking they know your body better than you do. I've had wet cough, sore throat and runny nose for a week and need to see a doctor again. The doctor didn't even check on me for 5 minutes and straight away administered 2 days MC which I then argued it is not enough for me as I needed more time to recover, but he refused my request. What added Insult to the Injury is I ended up rejecting the MC and the medications and plan to see a doctor elsewhere but I still have to pay a shocking amount of 50 dollars just for consultation??? Like this is daylight robbery as what kind of less than 5 minutes consultation is that expensive? Worst clinic I've ever been to and I would not recommend it to anyone, you are better off taking care of yourself than going to consult a doctor at this stupid clinic.
I’ve been to this clinic twice. The doctors are nice and professional. They take the time to check and explain thoroughly (Dr Ng and Dr Wang). The staff are efficient and approachable as well. The place is quite clean and has comfortable seats.
Dr Ng is the BEST doc. I’ve been seeing him for many years and I trust him with my life. lol! Anyone looking for a kind, caring, and knowledgeable doc, please don’t hesitate to look for Dr Ng.
I have been visiting Frontier Medical at Ubi for more than 10 years. The staff is friendly and approachable. Special mention to Dr Howe Wen Li. She is an exceptional doctor who combines expertise with genuine compassion. She is thorough in her diagnosis and her personalized care made a significant difference in my health journey. I am grateful for her dedication and contribution towards my family’s health. I highly recommend Dr Howe to anyone seeking medical advice.

GP consultations at private and GP-panel clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with investigations billed on top — a basic blood panel is S$60–200, a urine test S$15–40, and an X-ray S$80–150. GST applies on private medical services. For patients on CHAS (Community Health Assist Scheme) or who hold a MediSave-approved chronic condition under CDMP, out-of-pocket costs can be lower — confirm at the clinic counter whether Frontier Healthcare Ubi is a CHAS-accredited GP and which chronic conditions are covered under their CDMP registration. For any investigation or procedure, ask for a written breakdown of fees before proceeding. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences are listed for Frontier Healthcare Ubi in this directory profile. Every legitimate GP clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act, verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg — search by name to confirm registration status and any disciplinary history. Patients are strongly encouraged to verify both the clinic's MOH licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration before attending. Neither alone is sufficient as a trust signal — both should be confirmed. If the clinic is part of the Frontier Healthcare group, the group-level MOH licence may be held under a related entity; ask the clinic to confirm the licence number and registered entity name directly.
MediSave can be used for outpatient GP visits under the MediSave 500 withdrawal limit (S$500 per year for general outpatient consultations) and S$700 per year for the Chronic Disease Management Programme, which covers listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. Confirm at the clinic counter whether the presenting condition qualifies and whether the clinic is registered under CDMP. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient and day-surgery costs rather than routine outpatient GP visits, though some riders extend to GP panel consultations — check your plan's outpatient benefit schedule before attending. CHAS cardholders should confirm whether Frontier Healthcare Ubi is an accredited CHAS clinic, as this determines the applicable subsidy quantum. For any planned investigation or referral, request an itemised estimate in advance so you can confirm what insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions will apply before proceeding.
