About Frontier Healthcare Yishun
Frontier Healthcare Yishun is a general practice clinic located at 654 Yishun Ave 4, serving residents in Yishun and the surrounding north Singapore area. It holds a 4.9-star rating across 1,112 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable signal of consistent patient experience. No regulatory licences are listed in the current directory data, so prospective patients are advised to confirm the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration directly before booking.
For a first visit, patients typically walk in or call ahead to check waiting times. The GP consultation covers presenting complaints, clinical examination, diagnosis, and where needed, onward referral to a polyclinic specialist outpatient clinic (SOC) or private specialist. Bring your NRIC and insurance card; if you hold an Integrated Shield Plan, confirm whether the clinic is a panel provider, as GP visits are generally claimable under the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) for eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs, and selected chronic conditions may qualify under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal. Repeat visits for chronic disease monitoring — hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders — are typically managed here with medication review and referral coordination.
Contact Frontier Healthcare Yishun directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check operating hours, queue status, and CHAS or insurance panel eligibility before your visit.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Oh dear I have been visiting a lot in the past 22 years after moving here and Dr Goh has not aged a day. Being a regular sick person, I would vouch that Dr Goh is capable of pinpointing your illness based on your symptoms and with the right diagnosis, her prescriptions of medication will help you feel better. Her counter staff and crew may not be the same, but have definitely improved and upgraded over the years. They exemplify professionalism and provides great customer service knowing they are the first line of the treatment when patients calls in or step into the clinic. Keep the good work up, hoping not to see you guys too soon 🤗
This has been my go to clinic for many years. I really like the Dr and staff here. I came today for flu vaccination and was attended by locum Dr Chew Kwei Yong as the resident doctor is away. Dr Chew is also very nice and took time to explain to me what to avoid after the vaccination.
I recently visited this clinic for my booster shot and was super impressed by the friendliness of the nurses and doctor. Covid-19 vaccination is conducted at level 2, the first door on your right once you come out of the lift, while general consultation is at level 1. Doctor is super skillful too, I didn't feel any pain at all while getting the shot. Highly recommended.
It has been good so far with Dr Goh. Tried other clinics but they can't seems to prescribe the right meds until I saw her. I even gotten my grandkids now to go see her. Nurses are kind and soft spoken. During my first visit, I was rather upset because unwell and the long queue, and did blew up my temper abit. But the nurses were patient and managed the situation. Since then, I became more understanding of their job. Thank you Dr Goh and Nurses for taking care of our neighbourhood.
Been here a few times already. Very good experience so far! Dr Goh very sweet and gentle. Felt very well taken care here.

A standard GP consultation at a private clinic in Singapore typically runs S$25–60 before medication, with investigations such as a blood panel at S$60–200, a urine test at S$10–30, or a throat swab at S$20–50 billed on top. GST applies on private medical services. For CHAS Blue, Orange, or Merdeka Generation cardholders, subsidised consultation fees apply at participating clinics — confirm directly whether Frontier Healthcare Yishun is on the CHAS panel. Chronic disease follow-up visits under the CDMP programme allow MediSave withdrawals of up to S$500–700 per year for listed conditions. Any planned investigations should be quoted in advance with a clear breakdown of the out-of-pocket portion. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm active registration status and any specialist accreditation. No regulatory licences are listed for Frontier Healthcare Yishun in the current directory data. This does not necessarily mean the clinic is unlicensed, but it does mean patients should verify both the MOH clinic licence and the consulting doctor's SMC entry directly — either by asking the clinic or checking the public registers — before proceeding, particularly for any planned investigations or referrals. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life cover most private specialist consultations, day surgery, and inpatient stays, but standard GP outpatient visits are generally not claimable under IP — check your plan's outpatient rider terms. MediSave can be used for outpatient treatment under the CDMP for eligible chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, lipid disorders, asthma, COPD, stroke, selected mental health conditions, and others), with withdrawal limits of S$500 per year for general outpatient and S$700 per year under CDMP. CHAS subsidies reduce consultation and medication costs for eligible Singapore Citizens at participating GP clinics — bring your CHAS card and confirm panel status at the clinic. For any referral to a specialist or planned procedure arising from a GP visit, request a written financial counselling estimate that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions clearly before committing. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
