About Galia Lahav Singapore
Galia Lahav Singapore is a bridal boutique operating under the wedding services category, located at Capitol Singapore on Stamford Road. The listing is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. With a 4.8-star rating across 245 Google reviews, the sample is robust and reflects consistent client experience.
Brides typically begin the journey by booking a private consultation at the boutique to discuss silhouette preferences, fabric choices, and the wedding date. As a luxury bridal label, Galia Lahav gowns are designed to order, which means lead time is a central consideration — most brides allow six to nine months from the first appointment to the final fitting, accounting for the order-production cycle, international shipping from the atelier, and at least two to three alteration appointments in Singapore. During the consultation, the stylist will walk through trunk-show schedules if relevant, the deposit structure on order placement, the balance due on delivery, and the boutique's alteration policy. Brides planning a ROM solemnisation as well as a banquet may wish to discuss whether a second gown or a reception change is within scope.
To begin, contact Galia Lahav Singapore via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to book a private bridal appointment at Capitol Singapore.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
Bridal gown hunting was, in hindsight, the most enjoyable part of my wedding preparations, and I owe it all to The Proposal team. Despite my extremely tight timeline, the team not only welcomed me but ensured every step was handled and executed perfectly. The entire process—from selecting the gowns and initial fittings to the final collection and return—was seamless and stress-free. Everything was clearly explained right from the start, leaving no room for uncertainty. I ultimately picked the Pronovias Hart gown paired with a Carolina Herrera veil, achieving the classic, ethereal look I wanted. My consultant, Wati, was very professional. She provided honest advice, tailored to my needs, with absolutely no hard selling. Gina the seamstress, has top-notch alteration skills. She ensured the dress fit me like a glove. Overall, I am completely satisfied with The Proposal team's service and their wide selection of beautiful gowns. It was a truly pleasant experience, and I confidently recommend The Proposal to any bride seeking the perfect gown for her big day.
Rented the beautiful Vivienne Westwood Cocotte dress from The Proposal & the experience was wonderful!! Wati helped me every step of the way and she was so encouraging even when I somehow couldn’t fit the dress (& panicked), she helped to calm me down & made sure it was adjusted to fit me!!! I also requested for the sleeves to be up instead of off-shoulder, and the seamstress managed to make it work ❤️ so happy with how everything turned out & really appreciate the advice from Wati & the seamstress throughout this whole process
Excellent services from Jade and her team. I found my dream gown from Galia Lahav and it couldn’t have been possible without The Proposal. As the only authorized retailer to Galia, they get access to the latest gowns from GL. I found THE gown when I tried on the Spring ‘25 series during its exclusive trunk show in Oct ‘24. It was love at first sight. Jade and the team made the rest possible despite the extremely short timeline and had the gown customised to my measurements. The Proposal team was simply a joy to work with! The whole process from gown selection to measurements to returning - the team was professional, patient and experienced. Not a single regret working with The Proposal :)
Rented the super beautiful Vivienne Westwood wedding gown for my dinner reception here! Fell in love with the dress the first time I wore it, and being the indecisive bride that I am, I think I tried it a few times with different audiences to help me see, and thankfully The Proposal Team is super nice about it. I think it is also my experience at the boutique, which I really felt the most like a bride-to-be, which helps me to decide to go ahead with The Proposal. Big thanks to Brenna and team for always being so helpful every time! I am still in love with the dress even now and I have no regrets! Received so many compliments from my friends on the big day as well! Official photos are not out yet but here are snippets from the photobooth.
My Galia wedding dress from the Proposal was amazing - it had fit the decoration and theme of our wedding so perfectly and Brenna and Wati were so helpful to make sure that everything was in order. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding gown. I could even return the dress to their Jakarta branch 😁

Galia Lahav is a luxury bridal label and gowns are priced accordingly. Ready-to-order pieces from the collection typically start at several thousand Singapore dollars, with made-to-measure and couture tiers running considerably higher. The boutique's price display is listed as mid-to-upper range, so contact the team directly for a current price list and to confirm which collections are available in-boutique versus on order. Beyond the gown itself, budget for alterations (typically S$300–800 depending on complexity), a preservation clean, accessories, and any veil or headpiece sourced through the boutique. A deposit is usually required at the point of order placement, with the balance due on delivery or at a final fitting — confirm the exact schedule and refund terms in writing before signing. GST applies. See the full Wedding Services cost guide for Singapore →
For a luxury made-to-order bridal gown, six to nine months before the wedding date is the recommended minimum lead time. This allows for the order-and-production cycle at the overseas atelier, international shipping to Singapore, and at least two to three alteration appointments. Brides with weddings on peak Saturdays in March, April, October, or November should factor in that popular appointment slots at the boutique — particularly during trunk-show periods when new collections are in-store — can book out several weeks ahead. If the wedding date is fewer than four months away, raise this at the first consultation so the team can advise on which styles are achievable within the timeline. Some ready-to-wear or sample-sale pieces may be available for shorter lead times.
A deposit is standard at the point of order placement and secures the style, size, and fabric combination for production. Because luxury bridal gowns are made to order, deposits are typically non-refundable once the order is submitted to the atelier — cancellations after this point mean the gown has already entered the production queue. Confirm in writing: the deposit percentage, the balance payment schedule, what happens if the wedding is postponed, and the policy on size or style changes post-order. Also clarify the alteration scope included in the purchase price versus what is billed separately, and whether the boutique holds the gown after the final fitting or requires collection by a set date. Ask about public liability and accidental-damage cover during fittings if this is a concern.
