If you are considering Gallop Stable for your child, the first step is to enquire about level and programme fit — clarify the age group, skill level, and whether the syllabus aligns with your child's goals. Ask whether classes are offered in group or one-to-one formats, and confirm whether a term commitment is required or whether a more flexible enrolment is available. It is worth asking about class sizes and the ratio of instructors to participants, particularly for younger or less confident beginners. Also confirm whether sessions take place at the Pasir Ris Green facility only or at additional islandwide venues.
To get started, reach out to Gallop Stable via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability, confirm the programme that suits your child's age and ability, and find out the next available intake date.
Take the trial class and confirm the instructor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Meeting the horses were so cool !!! I got to feed and pet them, as well as ride them I met three horses, Bridgette the chestnut horse, Kimmy the fair horse and Ruby the one that lets you ride them. It's so worth it to try it out, feeding was 2 sgd per bucket while riding was 15 sgd. Edit because I forgot to mention, the staff were super friendly and helpful !!!
Had a lovely time at Gallop Stable Pasir Ris. The staff were accommodating, and I especially enjoyed meeting Kimmy, who was gentle and very charming. It happened to rain during our visit, but after a short wait the horse ride continued smoothly. The horses are adorable, they knew exactly when there were no more carrots left, which was so cute. A simple, relaxing experience and worth a visit.
I read the nasty comments on google and thought that people are bring too critical about the staff working there.. but not at all, after visiting them today.. I can attest that the comments are all 100% truthful! The 2 staff working at the kids pony ride have really awful attitude! Zero smile never mind, but their attitude is so bad.. I mean the kids are so excited about the pony rides and 2 of them just look like we owe them a living. They look so impatient while waiting for my child to wear the helmet and get on the horse.. the ride around the park took at most 3mins.. then when I was trying to snap a picture of my child on the horse at the end of the ride, the girl with the long hair just hurry my child to get off and just pull the pony away without any saying anything. Basic courtesy goes a long way guys.. If you are not happy with your job, please leave it.. can’t believe such people are working with animals.
For families with young children, I strongly recommend to bring young kids here instead of our usual shopping malls. Here, young children can feed/ touch ponies/ horses… and even ride on them. Teach them the care of gentle animals… And for a small fee, u don’t have to travel overseas/ JB for such activities. Kindly pls spare a tot…their staff are working under the scotching sun, day in, day out. And especially so for those that accompany the pony / customer rider and walk round and round the field. So sometimes it’s understandable they may not have the widest smile or friendliest attitude all day long. Also.. Pls check if they are open before going. Becos it’s a long way to Pasir Ris Park!
Nasty staff. They talk to children and parents so rudely. To many of us who were there it was our first time with our children. The staff were unkind and unpleasant with the instructions on what to do. Instead of guiding the children on how to wear the helmets and check for safety, they just asked sarcastically to the kids in the riding queue, "Are you ready? Are you ready?" And roll their eyes. If they think that the child is not ready the ride, the correct way to handle is to say, "Please put on the helmet, choose the right size, and check that it is well fitted." Instead if just staring at the children and asking "so are you ready?" Horrible attitudes and behaviour that spoilt what would have been a nice family outing. Other than horrible staff attitude, the place is beautiful, under the canopy of trees, horses seem well-groomed, there is a small shop selling canned drinks and some sticker type of art and craft. I would go back again but hopefully the staff are better trained and not so rude and unfriendly.

Gallop Stable has not publicly listed its session fees, so you will need to enquire directly for current pricing. As a general guide, sports and swimming classes in Singapore typically range from S$30 to S$80 per session for group classes, with one-to-one coaching commanding a premium. Many providers offer monthly packages or term-based enrolment rather than pay-per-session pricing, which can reduce the effective per-session cost. Ask about any registration fee, materials or equipment charges, and whether sibling or multi-session package discounts are available. Trial class fees, where offered, are sometimes applied as a credit towards a full enrolment. See the full Sport and Swimming Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Trial class availability varies by provider and programme. When contacting Gallop Stable, ask specifically whether a trial session is offered and whether it carries a separate fee or is credited towards a full-term enrolment if you proceed. A trial class is a useful way to assess whether the teaching style suits your child, whether the level is appropriately matched, and how engaged your child is during the session. Pay attention to how the instructor manages the group, offers corrections, and keeps participants motivated — these are often better indicators of fit than marketing materials alone. If a formal trial is not available, ask whether you can observe a regular class before committing to a term.
Instructor credentials are not listed publicly for Gallop Stable. When enquiring, ask about the qualifications held by the coaches or instructors who would be working with your child — for example, relevant national governing body certifications, years of coaching experience, and any competitive or professional background in the sport. For swimming specifically, look for instructors certified by SwimSafer or equivalent safety-competency programmes recognised in Singapore. For other sports, ask whether coaches hold accreditation from the relevant national sports association. If credentials are not readily volunteered, request to meet the instructor before signing up for a term. Teaching experience with children of your child's specific age group matters as much as technical qualifications.
