I was late for an appointment with my baby and the clinic was already closed. By chance, I met Dr Yap and his assistant coming down the stairs. He recognized me and my baby and asked after him. After I explained my situation to him and that my baby had taken a turn for the worst because of his sister who was also sick, Dr Yap without a second word, just beckoned me back to the clinic and reopened just for us. Really appreciative of him and his staff who reopened and stayed late for us with a smile. All my children love him too. Highly recommend!
Very dirty clinic. The behind of clinic is a dumping ground of rubbish by the chinese cafe and other shops near the clinic. We tried 2nd floor and the walls and seat there was so black and dusty that my kids develop eczema. The nurses are curt and not nice to talk.the physician is average and grumpy and no skills whatsoever. you can easily get a way better doctor at other areas with the prices he charge
The reception‘s attitude(short hair old lady) is very bad. The people who come here is because of sick. She still shout to the patient. Cannot even talk properly, make me feel like because of I come so she need to work, I am wrong to be here. Even though the doctor is nice, if next time I saw her at the counter, I will go another clinic. Very bad experience with this lady. The first thing I ask her is “Is that can paywave or paynow?” Because I didn’t bring any cash and card with me. Then she said can. When payment time she told me only Nets! No paywave. LUCKILY another staff told her can just nets QR code. Very very very bad experience.
Before I begin... The doctor (Dr Leong) would get 5 stars and the staffs probably 4 stars...but why the 3 stars here... So my daughter was ill and I saw the good reviews... But unfortunately it was a pretty long wait of about 1hr 35min (10 person in front of us) for the whole process. But I couldn't fault that as the doctor spend time to check properly on every patient and because he's good, that's why of the long queue yah. Just that if I knew the wait was so long, I would have went somewhere else. But more importantly was the after seeing doctor process... I was told that my daughter has to take an ART test (which I can uds), but after seeing the doctor, instead of administering the ART immediately, I was told to wait outside for my meds and then to wait for the ART at the back of the clinic while the doctors could managed to serve 2 more patients during that time. Took close to 20min for that. So my question would be why couldn't the doctor do the ART on the spot? And secondly, if the clinic is busy (and again not there fault), and with only 1 doctor, why couldn't they get someone else to be trained to do the ART, instead of taxing the poor doctor even further? And thirdly, while waiting about 15min at the back of the clinic (see picture), there was nowhere to sit and it's so heart wrenching to see my daughter suffering, standing up while waiting for the doctor to tend to other patients. If they are expecting the doctor to be busy, I think they could have made the area alot more comfortable. Luckily it wasn't raining...because if it was, then a patient could have gotten wet while waiting there. So all in all, they only deserve a 3 stars at most. Once again, am glad to have met Dr Leong...but the whole experience tells me I won't be back again anytime soon.
Dr Yap is a magician for kids. His prices are more reasonable then the big companies of paedriticians.
